Crowd goes wild when Trump uses rally-goer’s ‘terrible word’ to describe ‘witch hunt’ … it’s ‘bulls**t’

President Donald Trump blasted special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation as “bullsh*t” during his campaign rally in North Carolina.

The president took aim at the former special counsel, whose testimony before Congress was postponed until next week, and the two-year-long investigation into alleged collusion between Russia and his 2016 presidential campaign.

“And the reason we have to, not only to do new things, which we will, and you know statutorily, and we had all sorts of artificial witch hunts over our head,” Trump told a rally crowd in Greenville, North Carolina on Wednesday.

“Can you imagine if we didn’t have to go through that hoax, I don’t know that we would’ve done any better,” he added. “To be honest with you, I think we’ve done more in two-and-a-half years than any president ever. First two-and-a-half years.”

But, Trump posited, his administration could have accomplished a lot more if not for the “witch hunt.”

“But could you imagine what it could have been if we didn’t have the witch hunt,” he said, taking a cue from a man in the crowd who had referred to the investigation using “a terrible word.”

“You said it. I won’t say it, because it’s a terrible word,” Trump initially told the crowd.

“So I will not say that this guy said if we did not have the bullsh*t… that’s right,” he added, as the crowd erupted in cheers.

“No, no, could you imagine if we didn’t have the time wasted, the time and everything,” Trump continued.

“Can you imagine — and you know, a friend of mine said maybe you wouldn’t have done as well. Is that possible?” he asked. “That can happen. Maybe we would have had too much time on our hands. Who knows. But I can say, nobody in their first two-and-half years has done anywhere close to what we — not me — what we’ve all done.”

Mueller’s highly anticipated testimony before the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committee was moved to next week, placed on a calendar date one day ahead of a month-long recess for Congress. And while Democrats gunning to impeach Trump are hoping Mueller’s testimony will reveal something they can pin on the president, many see those efforts as a lost cause.

Former Congressman Darrell Issa argued that it isn’t time that Democrats need, it’s truth.

“The problem is, the more we have come to learn about the questionable-to-corrupt practices of the DOJ, FBI and Obama officials in both, the more true it appears that the president was comprehensively targeted and the American public was systematically deceived,” he wrote in an opinion piece published by Fox News this week.

“After rushing to judgment, sprinting to subpoena and naming a time and place for Mueller to deliver the goods, the Democrats clearly couldn’t decide what to ask, didn’t know what embarrassing details any answers might reveal, and weren’t ready to do any of this in public. So they hit pause and gave themselves a week to figure it out. It won’t be long enough,” the former chairman of the Oversight and Government Reform committee wrote.

Issa slammed House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler and his Democrat colleagues of using “backward logic” by declaring Trump guilty and then searching for the proof.

“The irony is there for all to see: A year ago, the Democrats couldn’t wait to hold hearings. Now, they don’t know what to ask or when to start,” Issa concluded. “Another week won’t fix it.”

Trump’s “Keep America Great” rally at the East Carolina University’s Williams Arena on Wednesday was originally scheduled to coincide with Mueller’s initial testimony date.
