A discussion on the “news” network CNN this Tuesday evening about President Donald Trump’s trash-talking tweets quickly devolved into a shouting match after far-left host Chris Cuomo began haranguing his guest with nonsensical hypotheticals.
Like most members of the far-left, Cuomo remains convinced that the president’s trash-talking tweets about radical Democrat Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley were rooted in racism. And like most members of the right, Cuomo’s guest Tuesday evening, former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, disagrees.
In responding to the host’s allegations that the tweets were racist, Kobach argued that the president had simply been trying to convey the point that those “Americans” who hate America as much as AOC, Omar, Tlaib and Pressley seem to hate it may be better off just packing up and leaving.
This cartoon, done by @LegInsurrection‘s @afbranco, pretty much sums up how many feel about Trump’s tweets. Rather than seeing racism, they see someone saying “if you hate America that much, leave.” It’s not unlike what has been said about Hollywood types. https://t.co/KMBsGseLlm

Cuomo was unwilling to acknowledge this point. Instead, he began blathering about how Trump’s tweets were rooted in his alleged hatred of brown-skinned people. Keep in mind that the president’s administration contains a bevy of brown-skinned individuals …
The host then posited a hypothetical: “What would you do if the president said, ‘I am a racist. That’s why I said it.’ What would you do?” he asked.
Kobach should have shot the question down by pointing out how insanely dumb it happened to be. Instead, he fell for the bait and said that, while he wouldn’t defend an openly racist president’s racism, he might still support said president depending on certain factors.
“Uh, then I would not defend him, because there’s no excuse for racism in America,” he said.
“Really?” Cuomo replied. “Would you still support him as president?”
“Um, I don’t know,” Kobach replied.
“You have to think about it!” Cuomo exclaimed in fury. “You have to think about whether or not you would support a racist! Really!?”
“I’d have to know who was running against him,” Kobach replied.
“A racist! An admitted racist you would have to know more?”
“These are ridiculous hypotheticals,” Kobach finally protested.
He should have said that from the get-go.

The rest of the discussion involved Cuomo just doubling, tripling and quadrupling down on his unsubstantiated claims that the president is a racist.
Now fast-forward to the end of his program, when, during a brief discussion with fellow far-left network host Don Lemon, his colleague decided to bring the discussion back up.
“Let’s talk about your first guest,” Lemon said. “I was so upset and stunned by him when it took him that long to decide if he would vote for the president if the president came out and said hey, yes, I am racist. The [correct] answer is no, I would not vote for an open racist.”
“He said that your hypothetical makes no sense. How not!?” Cuomo added in agreement.
But Kobash was right. The hypothetical did indeed make no sense because there was no correct answer. Why? Because every issue invariably involves some degree of nuance, including this one.
Listen to Lemon and Cuomo’s discussion below:
While having an openly racist president in office would no doubt be problematic, would it be more or less problematic than having, say, an openly authoritarian Marxist (one who wants to destroy America’s capitalist society and rebuild it as a Communist one) in office?
Questions like these matter in the real world. But as seen Tuesday on CNN, the real world doesn’t seem to matter much to the far-left talking heads at CNN. To them, it’s all about silly hypotheticals.
Questions like these especially matter when talking about the “squad” of radical congressional Democrats whom the president had targeted with his tweets. The lead member of the “squad,” Ocasio-Cortez, is also a card-carrying member of the Democratic Socialists of America. And just like every other Marxist, she has a frightening fondness for authoritarianism.
So does Omar, an anti-Semitic Muslim who’s repeatedly spoken out in defense of some of the most brutal, authoritarian regimes on Earth, including Cuba, Venezuela and Iran.
Then there’s Tlaib, who’s made it clear she aligns with Palestinian terrorists, and Pressley, who’s made it clear she aligns with far-left Black Lives Matter activists.
The fact of the matter is that every member of the “squad” of Democrats whom Trump targeted with his tweets is a radically left-wing, anti-American demagogue.
And that, according to Kobach, was why he targeted them with these tweets in the first place:
So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly……

….and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how….

….it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!
