Tucker Carlson busts CNN for ‘literally raising money for’ Antifa terrorists

Fox News host Tucker Carlson torched leftist cable network CNN for repeatedly glorifying and even fundraising for violent Antifa terrorists, who have been caught on camera viciously beating Trump supporters, threatening conservatives, and vandalizing public property.

Carlson noted that over the weekend, Antifa terrorist Willem Van Spronsen was shot to death by police in Tacoma, Washington, after he tried to fire-bomb an ICE detention center, causing a car nearby to burst in flames.

Van Spronsen was trying to set fire to a large propane tank when he was shot by cops — averting a potential disaster that could have resulted in the deaths of numerous people.

Naturally, CNN did not condemn the Antifa terrorist. Amazingly, CNN had featured Willem Van Spronsen in a special it did spotlighting the Antifa branch he belonged to, called the Puget Sound John Brown Gun Club.

The Antifa branch was glorified on Kamau Bell’s CNN travel show, “United Shades of America.” Carlson expressed shock at a segment where Bell praised an Antifa thug who showed off her brass knuckles and other weapons to attack Trump supporters with.

Tucker said: “That was a CNN anchor [saying] ‘Oh, I love these!’ he said as he handles Antifa’s weapons. Could CNN be any more explicit about promoting violence? That guy works for CNN. And he is holding a knife and brass knuckles, and he’s like, ‘Oh, I love this!'”

Carlson continued: “They are literally promoting violence. And worse than that, after that show aired, that Bell guy encouraged people to donate money to the chair group. He used CNN to do this. He tweeted, “Are you watching the ‘United Shades’ episode about the Puget Sound John Brown Gun Club, and the way they are doing to actively end white supremacy? Do what you can to support them.'”

“He is literally raising money — CNN is raising money for Antifa! Keep in mind that the viewers who took that advice, who followed CNN’s about guidance and send money to achieve, helped fund Saturday’s terrorist attack. Not that CNN cares.”

Carlson then spoke to Andy Ngo, a gay conservative journalist who was beaten by a group of Antifa thugs last week as police did nothing. Ngo says he’s not surprised that CNN is promoting Antifa violence.

Ngo said: “Two weeks after my beating, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that there is escalating violence by Antifa. Over the weekend, we heard the shocking news that an Antifa militant was going to an ICE facility and firebombing it and was coming with an armed rifle. Not only did CNN give a glowing profile to the Antifa militia that this man was a member of, but the host of the show solicited the public to donate to this group. If you watch the documentary, there are scenes where you can actually see Saturday’s attacker in the documentary.”

Tucker replied: “How could a news channel promote a terror group like this? And nobody said anything about it.”

Ngo said: “The problem is, a lot of these CNN producers and journalists are based in D.C. Or New York. They don’t embed themselves in these demonstrations as I do here in the Pacific Northwest. This movement claims that they will only engage in violence in self-defense, but under Antifa’s definition of self-defense, it’s actually premeditated and offensive, so the ideology paves the way for what we call over the weekend.”
