You have to give unhinged liberals credit, when they sink their teeth into a politically convenient narrative they put pit bulls to shame with their staying power.
Author Stephen King took to social media on Sunday to speak out against detaining those who illegally enter the United States, effectively comparing President Donald Trump and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to Nazis.
“First, you stoke hatred and fear of minorities,” King tweeted. “Then you round them up and put them in camps. Next, you send out raiding parties to get those who have been driven into hiding. The armbands come next right?”

Comparing Trump to Adolph Hitler has become a common trait from the side that’s far more likely to emanate fascist behavior.
The difference is, as a social media user noted, King is intelligent enough to know better. But then, King could be a poster boy for the Trump Derangement Syndrome crowd.
King uses his celebrity status to stoke fears in those too limited or too lazy to discern the truth for themselves — or are simply looking for like-minded people who feel the same way they do.
Mark Ashworth tweeted: “You are far too smart to b this historically illiterate. Maybe your faculties are waning. “Armbands?” C’mon man. That’s insane.”

According to a responding Twitter account that has all the characteristics of a bot, the MAGA hats are the equivalent to armbands.
These are the arm bands. They’re Nazis and they must be stopped! We know where this leads. #NeverAgainIsNow pic.twitter.com/ToP1wM3C5J

It’s because of individuals like Steve King and others in Hollywood, not to mention the Democratic Party, that the simple act of wearing a MAGA hat may result in the person receiving a beat down in the streets of America.
Those doing the beating telling their victims love trumps hate, even as they pummel them into the ground.
Speaking of feeble minded people, there are plenty out there circulating a photo of a German POW camp in World War Two, comparing it to ICE detention centers.
The only commonality being a chain-link fence, but then, the left doesn’t need much to establish a false narrative. We learned that much with “hands up, don’t shoot.”

Here’s a sampling of other responses from those who expected more from King, or who are smart enough not to be led around by their noses by liberal elitists who feel the need to project their views on others.
Your hysteria is mesmerizing.

Love u Steve but I hope u were as critical of the Democratic Party when they were doing the same things….

Actually what comes next is you deport them. Under federal law that’s what’s supposed to happen. In your view, what comes next? You put them on welfare and hand them a Medicaid card? Spare the sanctimony, it’s old. We know the left does NOT want to enforce immigration law.

We all want to save the world, but the grownups know it’s not possible. Rather than let everyone drown we do what we can by helping to repair their boat, not letting everyone into ours. Our country can’t support the world & their are people worse off than those in Central America

These are not American minorities these are illegal aliens.

Mr King you know darn well this has been policy for administration after administration. We have a proper process for immigration. Ask those who follow the rules how they view this. We need safety, have you forgotten 9/11. We have to know who is here and who is crossing here.

My God you have a great imagination. No wonder you're so good at what you do.#ConstantReader https://t.co/E2IHlnjd5Y

This shit drives me up a wall. The conditions at the border are aweful. But to compare it to the Holocaust is horrific. They came here willingly and detained because they crossed illegally. They are not being killed. They are not being worked to death. YOU are stoking fear https://t.co/hWYUN8Uw1X
