Rep. Ilhan Omar not only thinks President Donald Trump is a racist, she apparently believes anyone who supports him is as well.
The Minnesota Democrat lashed out at the president Sunday after he tweeted that several progressive freshmen House members should ”go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.”
Among Omar’s tweets and re-tweets attacking Trump, she included one by CNN contributor Wajahat Ali who linked to a Daily Beast article with a headline that read, “Trump Is a Racist. If You Still Support Him, So Are You.”

The freshman congresswoman did not dispute or comment on the headline in the tweet to her over one million Twitter followers, appearing to agree with the premise of the Daily Beast article by Goldie Taylor.
“The president is a racist, in his words and his actions. Before you go clutching your pearls and extolling the virtues of “civility,” let me say this: Put a sock in it,” Taylor wrote, adding that anyone who does not see the problem or call it out is “part of the problem.”

Referring to Trump’s comments about the congresswomen, Taylor argued that “his words Sunday were not racially ‘charged,’ ‘fueled,’ or ‘tinged.’ They were unapologetically racist. And, if you support him, so are you.”
In a series of tweets on Sunday, Trump noted the tensions between Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Democrats who have been locking horns with her recently, notably Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley who disagreed with her and voted against an emergency spending bill for the border.
“So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly……….and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful nation on earth, how our government is to be run,” Trump tweeted.
“Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how……..it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!” he added.

Omar, a Somali-born refugee who came to the U.S. as a child, fired back at the president in a tweet calling him “the worst, most corrupt and inept president we have ever seen.”
Mr. President,
As Members of Congress, the only country we swear an oath to is the United States.
Which is why we are fighting to protect it from the worst, most corrupt and inept president we have ever seen. https://t.co/FBygHa2QTt

The Muslim lawmaker added that Trump was “stoking white nationalism” because of his comments.
You are stoking white nationalism bc you are angry that people like us are serving in Congress and fighting against your hate-filled agenda.

She filled her Twitter feed with several more retweets from others condemning the president and supporting the progressive Democrats.
Saluting these women. Stay pushing. Stay shining. Stay working. Stay a pain in the ass of the #RacistInChief and all his co-horts. Stay true to who you are. Stay safe. Stay together. Stay making us proud. #FourQueens pic.twitter.com/jkcXe6Z96F

Omar has frequently attacked the president and condemned the U.S. for policies she disagrees with. She recently claimed that she loves America “probably” more than those who were born in this country. She then went on to bash the U.S.
“Something that I get criticized for all the time… is that I am anti-American because I criticize the United States,” Omar said at a conference over the weekend. “I believe, as an immigrant, I probably love this country more than anyone that is naturally born and because I am ashamed of it continuing to live in its hypocrisy.”
Others have called out Omar’s anti-American sentiments and her ungratefulness, including Fox News host Tucker Carlson whose criticism prompted the congresswoman to label him a “racist fool” and call for him to be fired as well for a boycott of his network.
“Ilhan Omar has an awful lot to be grateful for, but she isn’t grateful, not at all,” Carlson said. “After everything America has done for Omar and for her family, she hates this country more than ever.”
Fox News’ Todd Starnes condemned the Minnesota Democrat and others who find that the country that welcomed them in as refugees and immigrants “just doesn’t meet their standards of living,” suggesting a “one-way plane ticket back to whatever third world hellhole you came from.”
Trump doubled down on his criticism of the progressive House members on Sunday evening, slamming Democrats for turning a blind eye to the “disgraceful behavior” while backing “people who speak so badly of our Country and who, in addition, hate Israel with a true and unbridled passion.”
“Whenever confronted, they call their adversaries, including Nancy Pelosi, ‘RACIST,’ ” he tweeted. “Their disgusting language and the many terrible things they say about the United States must not be allowed to go unchallenged.”
So sad to see the Democrats sticking up for people who speak so badly of our Country and who, in addition, hate Israel with a true and unbridled passion. Whenever confronted, they call their adversaries, including Nancy Pelosi, “RACIST.” Their disgusting language…..

….and the many terrible things they say about the United States must not be allowed to go unchallenged. If the Democrat Party wants to continue to condone such disgraceful behavior, then we look even more forward to seeing you at the ballot box in 2020!

“If the Democrat Party wants to continue to condone such disgraceful behavior,” he added, “then we look even more forward to seeing you at the ballot box in 2020!”
And the president is right, judging from the sound of reactions on Twitter to being branded racists for supporting him.
The race baiting intellectually weak are out in force again, rage baiting is all thats left.

This is really behavior that a Congress person should not be engaged in. Omar should be censured.
