Hillary responds to Trump targeting ‘freshmen four,’ as Dems unite, rally around denouncing America

There are two overriding messages Democrats are desperate to distract from in a series of tweets from President Donald Trump targeting the four radical, hard-left freshman Democrats known as “the squad.”

One being that the president is denouncing the contempt these four women have for our country, and the second being Trump’s unmistakable love for America.

As always, the left’s distraction takes the form of calling Trump a racist and a bigot, accusing him of being xenophobic — he married an immigrant from Eastern Europe — but leave it to Hillary Clinton to weigh in by doubling down on the very contempt he characterized as “disgraceful behavior.”

“They’re from America, and you’re right about one thing: Currently their government is a complete and total catastrophe,” Clinton tweeted.

This group of four freshman lawmakers includes Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Ilhan Omar D-Minn., Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., and Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass.

Trump tweeted early Sunday these “progressive women” should “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came” — the scenario he laid out also noted that they could “then come back and show us how it is done.”

Of the four, Omar was the only one born outside the U.S. She was born in Mogadishu, Somalia, and came to America as a refugee when she was a child. Tlaib, who is quick to note that she is a Palestinian-American, was born in Detroit, but her mother was born near the West Bank city of Ramallah, while her father is from East Jerusalem.

Clinton’s tweet helps explain why she is a two-time failed presidential candidate, as she cannot cherry pick from the fact that it’s not just the Trump administration that this cabal attacks, but the American society and our form of government.

This was apparent when Omar spoke last week at Netroots Nations, trashing the country that took her in from one of the worst countries on the planet by calling Congress and the American society racist, claiming we treat illegal aliens detained on the southern border worse than dogs.

“We live in a society and govern in a body that might value the life of a dog more than they value the life of a child who might not look like theirs,” Omar said.

Trump’s intended message that got lost amid all the race-baiting is that these radical progressives with so much contempt for their country should appreciate the blessings of being a U.S. citizen and that they have no track record whatsoever to be lecturing others on how to run the country.

A message he followed up on later in the day by denouncing the Democratic Party “for sticking up for people who speak so badly of our Country.”

One thing is certain, with Speaker Nancy Pelosi having her hands full trying to keep these radical progressives under control as they try to hijack control of the party, the Democratic Party was beginning to come apart at the seams.

After a closed-door meeting last week where Pelosi reportedly reprimanded the four, telling her caucus criticism of each other should be kept in-house and not tweeted, a rash of attacks back and forth between the two camps broke out on Twitter, with the Congressional Black Caucus turning on the “squad” of four.

Ocasio-Cortez, the ringleader of the squad, responded by claiming that Pelosi was singling them out because they are women of color.

Despite the open warfare, Trump’s tweets seem to have brought the fractured caucus together — for now.

At least, that’s the media narrative coming out of the kerfuffle.

Or, in other words, the Democratic Party has rallied around denouncing America.

And some people fail to understand why Trump is seen as a political genius in some circles.

As for the four malcontents, they responded to Trump just like they respond to any and all criticism, falling back on being women of color and embracing victimhood — while confirming their contempt for America.

Yep, genius may not be generous enough.
