A Kalamazoo, Michigan, couple paid tribute to President Donald Trump by having a MAGA-themed wedding.
Audra and Jeff Johnson, a U.S. Marine, got married on the Fourth of July, and to give the ceremony an added patriotic feel, they had family and friends wear “Make America Great Again” hats, while the bride rocked a MAGA dress.
“It looked like America threw up all over my wedding and I’m not sorry,” Audra told Michigan’s Fox 17.
In addition to celebrating their love for each other, she said the couple decided to use their wedding day to celebrate President Trump.
The bride even had her nails painted to look like American flags, to compliment the MAGA dress.
“The dress is actually an Andre Soriano original,” she said. “It’s actually made out of a MAGA flag.”
Soriano is the pro-Trump immigrant designer who did the MAGA gown worn by Joy Villa.

Johnson told the Fox affiliate all were welcome to the wedding, noting that her lifelong friend and maid of honor is a Democrat who wasn’t exactly on board with wearing a MAGA hat.
“We were gonna do our photos with the Trump hats and she said, ‘You know I love you, but I can’t wear the Trump hat,'” Johnson explained. “I said, ‘It’s OK. It’s OK. Just wear a red hat. We still love you. We can have completely different opinions about everything and still love each other.”
Just as we see across the country, some family members took exception to a wedding honoring Trump — like the groom’s father, who refused to attend.
“He sent us a text message,” Johnson said. “It said, ‘As long as you support that racist in the White House, I won’t be attending your wedding.’ Which is sad but we did have a lot of people that loved us and showed up.”
Johnson and some friends traveled to Washington, D.C. to meet with Soriano about the dress design.
“It took four days of him doing measurements and putting the dress together,” she told CBS News. “But it was amazing. Him and his husband are fabulous.”

Jeff Johnson, a Marine veteran, wore his dress uniform for the wedding and was photographed holding a rifle.
But he wasn’t the only one. Hell, even his new bride posed with a weapon.
“Being a patriotic wedding, we really did encourage people to do whatever they felt comfortable with, if they wanted to open-carry, if they wanted to conceal-carry,” Mrs. Johnson said, according to CBS News.
