Patriots fight to save burning flag from communists; one Secret Service agent purposely burned, perps arrested

It appears Antifa thugs have arrived in the nation’s capital …

During Fourth of July festivities Thursday in Washington, D.C., a group of Revolutionary Communist Party members lit two Americans flag on fire, threw one of those flags at a Secret Service officer, resisted arrest afterward and were eventually arrested and tossed in jail.

The video below shows longtime communist activist Gregory Lee “Joey” Johnson setting one flag on fire and tossing it on the ground in apparent fear of the flames.

Immediately following that, a proud patriot who identified himself as a veteran rushes in to retrieve the flag and stop it from burning. The communists then respond by chanting, “America was never great.”

Uploaded by freelance journalist Marcus DiPaola, the photos below reportedly show the same activist, Johnson, lighting another flag on fire but then tossing it at a Secret Service officer:

According to the Secret Service, these antics led to two arrests.

“At approximately 5:30 p.m. today U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division Officers responded to an incident that occurred on Pennsylvania Avenue involving an individual who was burning an American flag outside the limits of a permit that had been issued by the National Park Service,” the agency said in a statement issued Thursday evening.

“Two individuals were arrested, one for felony assault on a police officer and malicious burning, the other for obstructing a police investigation and resisting arrest. One individual was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries and the other was transported to MPD 2nd District for processing.”

“Two Officers with the Secret Service Uniformed Division received minor injuries while attempting to make arrests and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.”

Johnson and his communist buddies chanting after the first flag was lit on fire, “One, two, three, four, slavery, genocide and war. Five, six, seven, eight, America was never great. Imagine a world without America!”

A left-wing activist reportedly head-butting a “right-winger.”

Members of the pro-free-speech, pro-liberty, multicultural fraternity known as the Proud Boys celebrating the arrest of the violent communists.

A “MAGA activist” using a dog crate to mock socialist Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s fake antics and notorious lies.

The night’s events seemed to confirm rumors about the far-left’s violent, anti-American ways, while simultaneously disproving allegations about the Proud Boys’ alleged extremism.

To be clear, the Revolutionary Communist Party ≠ Antifa ≠ the Democrat Party.

However, all three groups share the same animosity toward America and willingness to tolerate — if not outright condone, praise and promote — violence against their dissidents.

Addressing this “normalization” of harassment and violence, Fox News host Jeanine Pirro noted last summer that, “Trump supporters are being harassed all across this country by a hysterical left unwilling to accept the decision and the will of the American people who put Donald Trump in office. These unhinged leftists are normalizing outrageous behavior which is only getting worse.”

At the time, then-White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders had just been booted from a Virginia restaurant by a liberal manager, then-Homeland Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen had just been driven out of a restaurant near the White House by angry liberal protesters and then-Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi had just been forced out of a film screening for “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” by unhinged leftist protesters.

More recently, independent journalist Andy Ngo was beaten by left-wing Antifa activists in Portland, Oregon, in late June. Yet as of early July, only two Democrats had condemned the attack:

It’s unclear whether any Democrats will condemn the behavior of the Revolutionary Communist Party members.
