Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz of Florida is filing charges against an unhinged leftist who assaulted him by throwing a drink at him earlier this month. The attack occurred as Gaetz was exiting a town hall meeting at the Brew Ha Ha restaurant in Pensacola, Florida.
The woman, Amanda L. Kondrat’yev, was arrested and charged with battery. Gaetz, an attorney, told Fox News host Sean Hannity that he plans to press charges against his attacker to deter other unhinged leftists from assaulting people they disagree with politically (video below).
Gaetz argued that if Democrats don’t see that there are consequences to their attacks, the violence could ratchet up more — until someone really gets hurt. (Like when a crazed Democrat shot and injured Republican Congressman Steve Scalise in 2017.)
Gaetz: If there are no consequences, the violence will get worse
Gaetz said: “This type of behavior from the left is why you really see the right winning elections and winning the culture war. A few weeks ago, someone threw a drink at me leaving a town hall meeting, and I am going to press charges. If there are no consequences, then maybe it is me getting hit with a drink one time. But what if it is a member of my staff? What if instead of a drink it is acid or urine, or something else like that?”
Gaetz explained: “I think it’s really important that we send a message. We as conservatives have a right to our views, just as anyone else has a right to their views. We are not backing down from anybody. People that behave this way should face the consequences.”

The incident was captured on video. While some liberals are mocking Matt Gaetz for pressing charges, he makes a valid point about the need to stem such behavior before it escalates.
The UK's milkshaking protests crossed the pond to Pensacola.

Waitress spit on Eric Trump this week
As BizPac Review reported, an employee of a Chicago cocktail lounge spit on President Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump earlier this week. For a restaurant worker, that could actually be a health-code violation.
In response to the violence, the “Tolerant Left” gleefully cheered. Eric decided to not press charges against his assailant, but it’s yet another example of the incivility and violence erupting on the left.
Eric Trump slammed the increasing violence of the radical left.
“It was purely a disgusting act by somebody who clearly has emotional problems,” he said. “For a party that preaches tolerance, this once again demonstrates they have very little civility. When somebody is sick enough to resort to spitting on someone, it just emphasizes a sickness and desperation and the fact that we’re winning.”

Waitress who spit on Eric Trump gets suspended
Naturally, the mainstream do not condemn this. But imagine if the situation had been reversed, and a conservative had spit on or threw a drink at a Democratic politician.
Even though Eric isn’t pressing charges, the waitress who spit on him has been “put on leave,” according to a reporter with Fox 32 Chicago.
#Yelp says they have placed the #Chicago bar Aviary under an “unusual activity alert”.
