The Democrat-led House of Representatives passed a $4.5 billion border funding bill yesterday that provides no funding for a wall, but incentivizes more illegal immigration by using taxpayer money to house, feed, educate, and provide legal services to illegal aliens who sneak across the U.S. border.
The proposal, H.R. 3401, was passed by a vote of 230 to 195. Surprisingly, newbie Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib voted against the measure — in a sign that the Democratic Party is becoming unglued over the issue of illegal immigration.
House bill prioritizes illegal aliens over US citizens
The H.R. 3401 bill does not address the illegal immigration crisis at the U.S. border. Instead, it’s an appropriations bill providing resources such as water, diapers, toothbrushes, food and soap for the illegal aliens.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi admits that her bill is a temporary financial bandage being bankrolled by American taxpayers that does nothing to stem the daily caravans of illegal aliens flooding the U.S. border.
“It is not an immigration bill, so we cannot make any immigration promises in the bill. It is an appropriations bill, saying to the world that these children — they don’t have hygiene, they are not, in many cases, in their parents’ arms. We can make a big difference for them.”
Oh really? What about the impoverished American children and homeless U.S. citizens who sleep on the streets every night in Pelosi’s home state of California? Where’s the appropriations bill to help them?
GOP: Open-borders Democrats are ‘putting gasoline on the fire’
Republicans in the House of Representatives slammed Democrats, saying they’re politicizing the border crisis by pushing a bill they know President Trump won’t sign because it prioritizes illegal aliens over American citizens and lawful residents.
Moreover, Republicans say the Democrats are incentivizing illegal immigrants to continue to make the dangerous trek to the U.S. border.
“We’re going to end up putting gasoline on the fire because you’re going to just continue to encourage cartels to bring more people process them quickly, catch and release more, and just make the problem continue to grow,” Republican Congressman Chip Roy told the Hill.
House Minority Whip Steve Scalise told reporters:
“Border Patrol agents right now are spending their money out of their own pockets to buy diapers for these young kids because the agency’s out of money. And Speaker Pelosi won’t bring a bill to the floor to address this crisis.
Stop playing games with the young kids. We’re not even talking about the broader issue of solving this problem and ending the magnet that’s bringing these kids here illegally.”

Negotiating with radical Democrats is a waste of time
Nancy Pelosi — the leader of the Democratic Party — had urged her caucus to support the legislation, saying voting against it is a win for President Trump.
However, newbie lawmakers Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib defected from the party-line vote, proving that negotiating with radical Democrats is a waste of time — both for Republicans and for moderate Democrats.
Obama separated families at the border.
Obama housed unaccompanied minors in tent cities & in cages.
Obama prosecuted hundreds of thousands for illegal border crossings.
Obama deported millions.

Omar issued the following statement explaining why she voted no.
“Throwing more money at the very organizations committing human rights abuses — and the very Administration directing these human rights abuses — is not a solution,” Omar said. “This is a humanitarian crisis, a humanitarian crisis inflicted by our own leadership. It’s also a refugee crisis fueled by state violence, corruption, and impunity in the Northern Triangle — one that this Administration has only fueled through mass deportation and slashing aid.”
Wait — so ungrateful Somali refugee Ilhan Omar doesn’t want the Latino children to get food, beds, toothpaste, and diapers?
