Trump expertly trolls critics with tweet teasing him being president ‘4EVA’

President Donald Trump took some time on Friday to expertly troll his critics with a Twitter video that teased him as president for a long, long time.

Posted with no caption, the Twitter video from Trump shows the logo for TIME magazine in the background and it moves past signs promoting Trump presidencies through various years like 2028 and 2040. When we finally get to the last sign it reads: “Trump 2042.” Trump is seen above the sign. He looks down to the number and it keeps rising and rising until it’s showing presidential elections that are thousands of years in the future.

It eventually ends with the sign saying, “Trump 4EVA.”

TIME responded to the tweet by calling out the president for using a “manipulated version” of a digital cover they put together that showed something similar, promoting an issue about “Trumpism.”

“The animation you shared is a manipulated version of the Oct. 22, 2018, cover of TIME,” TIME tweeted to the president.

Some fans piled on TIME as they clearly were triggered by the troll.

“Trump’s cover is best,” one user responded.

Another replied, “His is better.”

And another said, “Thanks geniuses… We can tell.”

The actual TIME cover was for an issue called “How Trumpism Outlasts Trump” and it showed Trump presidential campaign signs from 2024 through 2044.

Others also responded to Trump’s tweet by celebrating his sense of humor.

“You seriously know how to troll the living crap out of the left. I heard the triggering all the way to California during the first 15 seconds. This is EPIC!” one user replied.

Another said, “You’re the biggest troll I’ve ever known. Love it!”

Some Leftists predictably began ringing the emergency bells as they always do every single time the president opens his mouth.

“I really hope your joking, because those who are still supporting you might actually think you are serious,” one user wrote.

This is not the first Trump has joked about staying in the White House beyond two terms, something he clearly knows makes many on the left pull their hair out and scream at the sky in frustration.

“And then we’ll drive them crazy. Ready? And maybe if we really like it a lot and if things keep going like they’re going, we’ll go and we’ll do what we have to do. We’ll do a three and a four and a five,” Trump joked at a campaign rally in May.

He then cleared things up for the crowd by saying, “We’re going to have another one, and it’s going to be great.”

He tweeted this week that he expects another six years in the White House, which would simply equate to a second term for the president.

“A poll should be done on which is the more dishonest and deceitful newspaper, the Failing New York Times or the Amazon (lobbyist) Washington Post! They are both a disgrace to our Country, the Enemy of the People, but I just can’t seem to figure out which is worse?” Trump tweeted.

He continued, “The good news is that at the end of 6 years, after America has been made GREAT again and I leave the beautiful White House (do you think the people would demand that I stay longer? KEEP AMERICA GREAT), both of these horrible papers will quickly go out of business & be forever gone!”
