On Friday radio show host Alex Jones offered a $1 million reward to whichever listener can identify the “gang member” and “b-tch” who allegedly embedded child pornography on his servers.
“You’re trying to set me up with child porn — I’m going to get your a–,” he yelled. “One million dollars, one million dollars, you little gang member. One million dollars to put your head on a pike. One million dollars, b-tch. You’re not going to ever defeat Texas, you sacks of sh-t.”
Both Jones and his attorney, Norm Pattis, claimed that his show’s website, InfoWars, recently received a hash of threatening emails that contained image attachments. After Jones’ team forwarded the emails to the FBI, it was discovered that the attachments were child pornography photos.
“These were emails that if you, me or one of your workers had opened we would have been subjected to five years in federal prison,” Pattis noted Friday.

That said, Pattis wasn’t exactly thrilled about Jones’ $1 million reward.
“You should have talked to me about the reward structure,” he complained. “Listen to me. I’m your lawyer, and it would behoove you to listen from time to time. You don’t ever want to create an interest in the outcome and a potential witness.”
This infuriated Jones.
“Why does law enforcement say $5,000 dead or alive? … You think I won’t pay $1 million?”
“I didn’t say that. I just don’t want you to create an interest in the outcome of the person who testifies, because they now have a contingent interest in telling the truth,” Pattis replied.
He’s correct. Even if someone were to identify the perpetrator, the individual’s testimony would likely be inadmissible because of the reward attached to it.
During the heated discussion Friday, Jones also shared his belief that this alleged child pornography plot was purposefully carried out by someone linked to the Sandy Hook lawsuits he currently faces.
“Jones is currently being sued by the families of Sandy Hook victims who say he has profited off of spreading claims the massacre was a hoax,” The Daily Beast reported.
“He appeared to suggest repeatedly throughout Friday’s episode that he was framed by someone tied to those suing him. He repeatedly singled out Christopher Mattei, a former Assistant U.S. Attorney who currently represents the Sandy Hook families, and railed against Democrats who he appeared to believe were working against him.”
“I’m not into kids like your Democratic party, you c-cksuckers,” Jones railed. “I don’t like having sex with children, I would never have sex with children. I am so sick of their filth and living off the dead kids of Sandy Hook.”
“I like women with big, giant t-ts and big a–es,” he added.
Neither the FBI nor the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the District of Connecticut were willing to comment about these accusations when questioned by The Daily Beast.
What’s known is that Jones does have a history of exaggeration and hyperbole. He reportedly admitted as much in a deposition filed three months ago in one of the Sandy Hook cases.
“I, myself, have almost had like a form of psychosis back in the past where I basically thought everything was staged, even though I’m now learning a lot of times things aren’t staged,” he reportedly said. “So I think as a pundit, someone giving an opinion, that, you know, my opinions have been wrong; but they were never wrong consciously to hurt people.”
It’s unclear whether he still believes Sandy Hook was a hoax.

Pattis expressed his belief Friday that Jones will ultimately triumph in the cases.
“You will win the lawsuit in Sandy Hook. As a matter of law, it was protected speech and not
defamatory, and it was …,” he said.
“And they know that, so there’s going to be child porn put on my servers,” Jones interrupted.
“That may well be the plan that some as yet unidentified person engaged in. It’s easy to make an accusation, hard to prove it,” Pattis replied.
“Oh, I’m not making an accusation. I’m sure that U.S. attorneys appointed by Obama are sweet little cupcakes. I would never accuse them of …,” Jones continued.
Actually, Mattei was appointed Assistant U.S. Attorney for the State of Connecticut in 2007, two years before former President Barack Hussein Obama took office. He left the position in 2015 to work for a private law firm that reportedly focuses on civil rights, institutional abuse, elections and consumer protection.
As noted earlier, Jones has a history of exaggeration and hyperbole.
