On the same day that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer delivered a speech whining that members of the U.S. women’s national soccer team deserve to earn as much as their male counterparts — never mind that the male team generates far more revenue — the female team inadvertently proved to the entire world why, if anything, it may deserve to earn far less.

During the team’s first match in the Women’s World Cup against Thailand on Tuesday, its female members behaved like complete jerks, to be put it mildly.
First, player Megan Rapinoe refused to sing the national anthem as its blared throughout the Stade Auguste-Delaune stadium in Reims, France. Why? To take a stand against alleged income inequality, alleged lack of criminal justice reform and the alleged oppression of gay people in America.
Known for taking a knee in 2016 in solidarity with disgraced former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, Rapinoe is an openly gay anti-Trump zealot who thinks President Donald Trump is a  “sexist,” “misogynistic,” “small-minded,” “racist” and “not … good” person who’s destroying America.
When asked last month about what it’d take for her to return to singing the anthem, she said, “It would take criminal justice reform. It would take the huge inequality gap that we have to be much better. It would take a lot of progress in LGBTQ rights.”
“We just have such a disparity in this country in so many different ways, inequality in so many different ways… There are things that are much more important than soccer.”
Trump has already achieved historic criminal justice reform, spurred an increase in wages and tapped members of the gay community to serve in his administration, but never mind the facts.

Second, members of the women’s soccer team braggadociously celebrated every single goal they scored against Thailand, which for the record had never even stood a chance.
“Thailand was never a real threat to the U.S. national team,” the Daily Mail reported. “Even so, the three-time Women’s World Cup champions had no desire to go easy on a lesser opponent in their opening game. … Even the substitutes joined arms and jumped up and down with wide smiles — while Thai players were left in tears. Commentators and fans on Twitter have described the jubilant celebrations as unsporting and even ‘disgusting.'”
Leading the celebrations was Rapinoe again:
Some of the toughest criticism against the team was leveled by former soccer players like Clare Rustad, who played on the Canadian women’s national soccer team from 2000 to 2008.
“This was disgraceful from the United States,” she said during a panel discussion on The Sports Network. “I would have hoped they could have won with humility and grace but celebrating goals 8, 9, and 10 the way they were doing is really unnecessary.”
Network host Kate Bei agreed, adding that given how many wins Rapinoe “has scored countless goals on the international stage,” it was unacceptable for her to keep “celebrating like she had her first.”

By the way, just like Schumer, Rapinoe also believes she deserves more money. Her whole team does. Three months ago the team filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Soccer Federation in March demanding “equal pay.”
“It is wrong for us to be paid and valued less for our work because of our gender,” Rapinoe said in a statement at the time.
This stunning combination of bad behavior — demanding “equal pay” when parity hasn’t been earned, disrespecting the flag AND celebrating every goal — has not earned the team much favor on social media, where it now faces intense, widespread criticism.

I understand pugh celebrating her first world cup goal but people like morgan counting her goals, rapinoe dancing around and the bench and coach celebrating the 12th and 13th goals is embarassing. People look up to these ladies and their lack of sportsmanship was not nice to see
