Former first lady Michele Obama is participating in activity deemed to be a tool of “oppression” that teaches young Americans “to dehumanize and harm their peers.”

Better known as dodgeball.

Mrs. Obama will lead a celebrity U.S. dodgeball team traveling to the U.K. to take on an all male team lead by CBS’s “The Late Late Show” host James Corden, who’s from England.

Team USA will include Obama, Melissa McCarthy, Allison Janney, Mila Kunis, Lena Waithe and Kate Hudson, while Team UK will feature Corden, Harry Styles, Benedict Cumberbatch, “Game of Thrones” star John Bradley and “Late Late Show” bandleader Reggie Watts.

The contest will air on the show next Monday, as Corden does a week of shows from London for the third straight year — the late night talk show host was born in the city. The show will broadcast from London’s historic Central Hall Westminster from June 17-20, according to Variety.

Mrs. Obama has previously appeared on the “The Late Late Show,” in a 2016 segment of Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke.”

While the idea of a dodgeball competition is all in good fun, a Canadian Nation Post article cited professors from three Canadian universities who produced a study that denounced the game an evil tool of oppression.

An article that came out while the world reflected on the 75th anniversary of D-Day.

In a presentation last week at the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences in Vancouver that centered on interviews with middle-school-age students on phys ed courses, it was learned that “certain students” hated dodgeball.

Joy Butler, a professor at the University of British Columbia professor who studies pedagogy and curriculum development, told the Washington Post that dodgeball “is being used as an outlet for aggression or catharsis.”

“The message is that it’s okay to hurt or dehumanize the ‘other,’” Butler explained. “The competition is about annihilating one’s opponent, and the true definition of competition is between two evenly matched teams. Well, kids stack their teams, and they really enjoy beating the other team. What’s the enjoyment of that?”

So what gives, Michelle Obama? Dodgeball for thee, but not for we?

Social media users were kind enough to remind the former first lady that dodgeball is no longer an approved activity for the progressive left.
