With the progressive left having weaponized the #MeToo movement, a new survey shows that 60 percent of male managers are uncomfortable mentoring, working one-on-one or socializing with a woman.
The poll was released by LeanIn.org and SurveyMonkey, and reflects a 33% increase from last year, according to CNBC.
All of which prompted a crass response from Rep. Alexadria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., who responded by attacking men expressing legitimate concern.

Senior-level men also say they are 12 times more likely to be hesitant about one-on-one meetings with a junior woman than they are a junior man, nine times more likely to be hesitant to travel with a junior woman for work than a junior man, and six times more likely to be hesitant to have a work dinner with a junior woman than a junior man,” CNBC reported.
The results coming after Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh went on national television to defend himself from an ambush laid by Sen. Diane Feinstein, D-Calif., and her Democratic colleagues on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
A very distraught Kavanaugh angrily fought back against unfounded allegations from more than 40 years ago as his reputation and life’s work lay on the line. The toll it was taking on the jurist was clear for every man in the country to see.
Yet, those most responsible for the current environment now complain about the predictable consequences of their actions.
LeanIn.org founder and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg denounced the poll results as “totally unacceptable.”
She told CNBC “women already weren’t getting the same mentorship men were, particularly women of color,” saying “no one has ever gotten a promotion without getting a one-on-one meeting.”
Rachel Thomas, president of LeanIn.org, seems to think the answer is fewer straight white males in positions of leadership.
“We need more women in positions of leadership, more people of color and more LGBTQ people,” Thomas said. “We need to change what leadership looks like in our organizations because we know that will lead to more safer and stronger workplaces.”
Men are simply adapting to the environment they’re being forced to live in, as seen in a tweet of actor Keanu Reeves that’s been circulating this week, where the famed actor takes a hands off approach when posing with women.
As for Ocasio-Cortez, it seems the democratic socialist is doing her part to steer clear of males or, at least, one potential male challenger.
Rich Valdes, a conservative New Jersey radio producer who’s considering moving into Ocasio-Cortez’s district to run against her in the 2020 election told the New York Post the Democrat ran from him when he encountered her Sunday in the National Puerto Rican Day Parade.
Valdes has previously said Ocasio-Cortez’s intitials, AOC, stand for “All Out Crazy.”

He told the Post he planned to challenge Ocasio-Cortez to a debate on the merits of capitalism versus socialism when he saw her, but she “cut her handshaking short, jerked her hand back and jetted to the other side of the street.”
“She literally ran!” Valdes said.
“I thought this was a good time to try and get a response but I honestly only saw the back of her head as she trotted across the street,” he added.
Right or wrong, men are taking notice of the potential minefield that has been laid before them.
