Friendship bracelets?
Setting aside the fact that Joe Biden is a 76-year-old man, it’s a clever way to remind the Democratic Party of his favorable association with former President Barack Obama, who is still seen as a messiah by many in the party.
On the downside, Biden’s presidential aspirations may take a hit with him acting like a school girl, which doesn’t exactly project qualities of a strong commander in chief.
A little known fact is that Saturday was National Best Friend Day in the United States, and the former vice president took to social media to share a better known fact that he considers Obama his best friend.

And if you think the bracelet is cute, that’s not just any bracelet.
That is a friendship bracelet Obama made for him in 2016 while they were still in office — the bracelets were part of a light-hearted get-out-the-vote video.
Biden, who continues to lead in the polls, used the same photo — regifted? — in a 2016 tweet wishing his pal Obama a happy 55th birthday.

Since announcing his run earlier this year, Biden doesn’t hesitate to remind primary voters of his close friendship with Obama.
As for the former president, he has not quite offered an endorsement, though Biden did get out in front of the… snub?
“I asked President Obama not to endorse and he doesn’t want to,” he told reporters. “Whoever wins this nomination should win it on their own merits.”

Obama was slow in endorsing a candidate in the 2016 election, waiting until a month before the Democratic Convention to back the eventual nominee, Hillary Clinton.
The move was seen by some as part of an effort to beat back a surprisingly strong run by Sen. Bernie Sanders.
But pals they are, Biden and Obama, with the former vice president confirming their bromance on the campaign trail last year, when he was stumping for Andrew Gillum, the failed Florida gubernatorial candidate.

And Obama has done his part in building up the relationship, as seen in the quote below:

Fittingly, on the day the Supreme Court ruled same-sex couples had a constitutional right to marry, Biden shared the following photo on his then-official Instagram page.
Yep, after eight years in office together, they are like peas and carrots. And while Biden might escape the scrutiny of the liberal media in his transparent effort to pander for votes, social media is a whole other matter.
