Brazile tells co-hosts Hillary’s qualified to speak at cybersecurity summit. Her reason has everyone cracking up.

How fun is this? Donna Brazile insisted Saturday morning that Hillary Clinton would be President of the United States if not for Russia, saying, “the country was attacked and she was the main victim of that attack.”

And it gets better …

The former DNC chair, who in 2016 tried to blame Russia for her own misdeeds in support of the Clinton campaign, was asked to comment on Hillary Clinton’s gig as the keynote speaker at a cyber security summit. As the panel’s laughter died down, Brazile tried to make the case that Clinton “understands the threat,” as well as the importance of having a robust system in place to protect the nation’s cyber assets.

Pete Hegseth, one of the hosts, interrupted and was the first to bring up some obvious points. “The irony, our own Ed Henry asked the question about wiping the server clean and she famously talked about the cloth,” he said. “There is not a lot of credibility in the reservoir for Hillary Clinton.” Of course her destruction of the infamous emails was just the beginning of the former Secretary of State’s cyber problems, given her clearly illegal servers and mishandling of classified information.

Accomplished politico that she is, Brazile sidestepped that line of reasoning and went to the argument that Clinton would be in the White House today if not for being victimized by the Russians.

More giggles and eye-rolling ensued before cohost Jedediah Bila made herself heard over the din, saying, “A lot of voters feel she’s not in the White House because she lied repeatedly about sending unsecured emails over an unsecured server. She missed whole states, she decided not to go …”

“I agree there are reasons,” Brazile said, knowing she had a weak case. “Number one, number 2, number 3 … but I guarantee, one of those three is the Russians attacked the United States of America.”

Still another angle to examine here is the puzzle of how Brazile landed a recurring paying job at the network, given the fact that a Wikileaks dump in 2016 revealed she had shared questions for CNN-sponsored candidate events in advance with friends on Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Brazile was then actually fired by fake news CNN for her lack of integrity.

In fact, why Brazile would even be allowed to comment on this particular topic and regurgitate her old Russian claims before the Fox audience is astounding.

A brief summary of events in 2016 as told by Wikipedia captures the reason for some head-scratching by viewers with good memories …

Brazile at first vehemently denied receiving or furnishing the Clinton campaign with any town hall questions and dismissed the Wikileaks organization as “these sad ass whipper leakers try to slow my groove”. She accused TYT Politics reporter Jordan Chariton of “badgering a woman.” Questioned by Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, Brazile said, “As a Christian woman, I understand persecution. I will not sit here and be persecuted because your information is totally false.”

Jake Tapper, a former colleague of Brazile’s at CNN, provided his perspective on the possibility of a leak of a question to a Presidential candidate, calling it “very, very upsetting” and added that “journalistically, it’s horrifying”. Brazile, however, said that her conscience was “very clear”. She later commented: “If I had to do it all over again, I would know a hell of a lot more about cybersecurity.”

In a talk at the College of Journalism and Mass Communications on the University of Nebraska–Lincoln campus on October 12, Brazile condemned the leaks, which intelligence officials said came from Russia, were to “manipulate an election, disrupt or discredit or destroy our democracy” and ultimately try to “produce an outcome more favorable to them and their interests,” Brazile said.

Then in March of 2017, Brazile admitted to forwarding debate questions to Clinton’s campaign during the 2016 Democratic primary, while she was serving as DNC vice chair and also working as a CNN commentator.

Brazile has not admitted to being a Russian agent, so revisiting her claim that “Russia did it” is choice, is it not?
