Burger King under fire for cheering milkshake attack of conservative Nigel Farage by liberal zealot

Fast-food restaurant Burger King is known for its jingle, “Have it your way,” but little did we know that it applies to attacking those who hold differing political views.

Burger King U.K. seemingly endorsed throwing milkshakes at political opponents over the weekend based on its response to a protester in Newcastle, Scotland hitting Brexit leader Nigel Farage with a shake.

The gooey attack on Farage was captured on video, with even the online newspaper The Independent seemingly making light of the assault on the right-wing politician by sharing the flavor of the shake while tweeting the footage.

“Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage hit by a ‘banana and salted caramel milkshake’ thrown by a protester in Newcastle,” read the tweet’s caption.

Farage was campaigning ahead of the European Parliament election, which begins on Thursday — he is heard in the clip berating his security for its “complete failure.”

Footage of a peeved Farage walking away after the attack was also shared on social media:

It appears that the act of “milkshaking” those you disagree with is all the rage across the pond, with activist Tommy Robinson also being targeted by emboldened liberals who feel justified in attacking people who think differently than they do.

(A trend that’s quickly becoming evident here in the states.)

The “protester” was identified as Paul Crowther, who was arrested by police. But he was far from remorseful for his actions, Feeling entitled to assault others, the zealot said he was “quite looking forward” to the attack.

“It’s a right of protest against people like him. The bile and the racism he spouts out in this country is far more damaging than a bit of milkshake to his front,” Crowther said, according to The Washington Post.

After coming under fire for inciting violence, Burger King UK responded by mocking the incident further — while making a mockery of drunk driving.

“We’d never endorse violence — or wasting our delicious milkshakes! So enjoy the weekend and please drink responsibly people,” the company tweeted.

The Burger King tweets prompted actress Mindy Robinson to slam them while giving Chick-fil-A a ringing endorsement.

She tweeted: “Hey Burger King, passive aggressively encouraging your customers to continue to assault Tommy Robinson with milkshakes is just super classy. That’s just another reason why @ChickfilA is superior to you and your garbage food and weird fries every single day.”

So, add Burger King UK to those who have decided to wade into the political waters, on the left side of the pool, of course.

Here’s a sampling of the reaction on Twitter that suggest some have crossed off yet another company from their list of options:
