Lara Logan, a former reporter for “60 Minutes,” has joined Sinclair Broadcast Group to do a three-month exposé on the alarming migrant crisis at the US-Mexico border.
Logan worked for 16 years at CBS News before leaving the network last year.
In February 2019, Logan made headlines after revealing that the mainstream media are “85% Democrats” who hate President Trump and have devolved into left-wing “propagandists and political activists” masquerading as objective journalists.

Lara Logan: I’m Afraid to Join Sinclair Full-Time
Lara Logan — who is not a conservative — agreed to a three-month assignment with Sinclair Broadcast Group.
She says she’s not sure if she wants to accept a full-time reporting gig with them because she’s worried she’ll be viciously attacked by the left-wing media since Sinclair is a conservative media conglomerate.
“I’m not looking for the big contract and the big pedestal from which they can knock me down,” Logan told the Hollywood Reporter. “I don’t know if I’m going to even survive this.”
However, Sinclair would be thrilled if Lara Logan joined them full-time. “We’ve had conversations on and off for probably more than a year,” said Scott Livingston, Sinclair’s vice president of news. “She’s smart, dynamic, resilient and tough as nails. She’s an incredible journalist.”
For Logan to express fear is significant, since she has reported from deadly war zones over the years.

Since leaving CBS News in 2018, Logan has appeared numerous times on Fox News to expose the leftist agenda being relentlessly pushed by the mainstream media.

Logan: Today’s Media Are Leftist Propagandists
In March, Logan pointed out that the media refused to acknowledge that Robert Mueller’s final report concluded there was no evidence of Trump-Russia collusion. Why? Because then they would have to admit that they were pushing fake news for the past three years.

Logan says this is because the media has an agenda:
“I’m 47 now and I’ve been a journalist since I was 17. The media everywhere is mostly liberal, not just in the U.S.
But in this country, 85 percent of journalists are registered Democrats. That’s just a fact.
All the coverage on Trump all the time is negative. Although the media has always been left-leaning, we’ve abandoned our pretense or at least the effort to be objective today.
Well, that’s not our job. That’s a political position. That means we’ve become political activists in a sense, and some could argue propagandists.”
Ted Koppel: CNN Attacks Trump Around the Clock For Ratings
Logan’s comments mirror the observations of legendary journalist Ted Koppel — a liberal who slammed CNN and MSNBC for their nonstop negative coverage of Trump, saying their ratings would tank without Trump.
“Money, money… Donald Trump has been wonderful for the [media] industry,” Koppel told CNN hack Brian Stelter.
“You can’t do without Donald Trump! You would be lost without Donald Trump! CNN’s ratings would be in the toilet without Donald Trump.”
