According to far-left CNN political commentator Ana Navarro, the same woman who smugly filed her nails during a debate earlier this year regarding the victims of illegal immigrant crime, former Vice President Joe Biden deserves a pass for his creepy, inappropriate behavior toward women.
“@joebiden is way touchy-feely. Can make some feel uncomfortable. He needs to stop it,” she wrote in a tweet Saturday, responding to the growing clamor surrounding Biden’s bad behavior.
So far so good.
“But pls get back to me when +15 women say he sexually harassed them, or he boasts of grabbing a woman’s kitty-cat, or he pays hush-money to a stripper who reminds him of his daughter. I’ll wait,” she added in a statement that reeked of unabashed whataboutism.
The insinuation seemed to be that, because Republican President Donald Trump has also been accused of bad behavior, potential Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden should be let off the hook.
That sounds like something someone at CNN would say …

Her tweet was not well-received:
Multiple things can be bad at the same time, btw ??♂️

Let’s maintain the perfectly human ability of being able to dislike more than one thing at once.
— E M M Δ (@emma_LJ) March 30, 2019
So we can’t be against both? Is it either or, Ana?
— Beto Reber (@Robb_R9) March 31, 2019
Did you seriously just give Biden a pass because ‘orange man bad’? Jeebus, Ana.
— The?FOO (@PolitiBunny) March 31, 2019
what if…both are bad and not worthy of defending.

Or we can elect someone who does neither.

But there’s an additional problem that none of the Twitter users above mentioned, and that is the fact that there are differences between the Trump and Biden allegations.
For one, the accusations against the president were made by uncredible women such as former Trump campaign staffer Alva Johnson. She claims that in August of 2016, then-GOP nominee Trump leaned in to kiss her as he exited an RV. Yet she waited six weeks to quit her job. And then during an appearance on a radio show six months later, she praised Trump for being “the nicest guy.”
During that interview, she added that she was expecting to accept a post-election job in the Trump administration as the “second-in-command” at the U.S. Embassy in Lisbon.
Now compare Johnson to Biden’s accuser, former Nevada state legislator Lucy Flores, a Democrat who claims that during a 2014 midterms campaign rally, the then-VP touched her in a “blatantly inappropriate and unnerving” way.
“Just before the speeches, we were ushered to the side of the stage where we were lined up by order of introduction,” she wrote in an op-ed last week. “As I was taking deep breaths and preparing myself to make my case to the crowd, I felt two hands on my shoulders. I froze. ‘Why is the vice-president of the United States touching me?’”
“I felt him get closer to me from behind. He leaned further in and inhaled my hair. I was mortified. He proceeded to plant a big slow kiss on the back of my head. My brain couldn’t process what was happening. I was embarrassed. I was shocked. I was confused. … I wanted nothing more than to get Biden away from me.”
“I had never experienced anything so blatantly inappropriate and unnerving before,” she added.

There’s no equivalence between Biden’s actions and the president paying off a woman who’d voluntarily slept with him, or him speaking naughtily about women during a locker room conversation. There’s likewise no footage of the president inappropriately touching women.
False equivalence. For example, did you see the video of Chris Coons’ teenage daughter? She was clearly mortified when Biden began sniffing her hair and slobbering in her ear. This is in public Ana. They are young girls. Not grown women chasing a billionaire. Just stop.

The same cannot be said of the former VP, who’s been repeatedly seen over the years inappropriately touching young children, grown women and even grown men …
The accusations against Biden are so extensive and documented that even Vox, one of the most far-left outlets in the mainstream media, has taken the time to note them.
“Flores’s experience isn’t unique. It is no secret in Washington that Biden has touched numerous women inappropriately in public,” the left-wing news purveyor wrote last week.
Other mainstream media entities and personalities have joined the chorus:
Biden has a public history of uncomfortable/inappropriate/ problematic touching and hugging and kissing. It’s been caught on cameras. We’ve all seen it. And stories like these will pop up during a campaign, should he choose to run. https://t.co/wCo5gwLVqA
— Sam Stein (@samstein) March 29, 2019
This is deeply horrifying and extremely credible based on everything we’ve ever heard or seen from Joe Biden with our own eyes. He cannot run. https://t.co/gz3ilt4XNC

Trouble begins for Biden. This will almost certainly not be a “one-and-done” story. https://t.co/0oDK8qP3Cj

Wow – this piece by Lucy Flores speaking up about Biden’s creepy behavior. https://t.co/wMY6GSH5aa Seems like there will be so many more stories like this. Fits into the piece I did in 2017 on why Biden is a bad choice for Dems in this MeToo era https://t.co/D3z0esSyST

Everybody except for nail-filing CNN commentator Ana Navarro.
