It’s not easy being white in post-Obama America, as the fairer-skinned race is liable to be blamed for just about anything — like killing the environment with their diets.
“White people are already accused of hogging the majority of jobs, film roles, and housing — and now they’re getting blamed for eating up Earth’s natural resources, too,” the New York Post reported.
Stereotyping aside, the basis of that damning assertion is a new report published in the Journal of Industrial Ecology.
The findings show that the eating habits of white people results in more food being used, which emits more greenhouse gases than the typical diets of black and Latina people, according to The Post.
Potatoes, apples, beef and milk are at the top of the list of offenders, and white folks drink more water — the bastards!
It seems white people have something in common with cows these days, as neither aren’t getting much respect.
Democratic socialist Rep. Alexander Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., was clear in her radical Green New Deal that cows (and their farts) were public enemy #1 — or maybe it was #2, after airplanes.
University of Illinois student Joe Bozeman, who helped author the study, pinned the “majority” of greenhouse gases being emitted into the world on whitey.
“While the difference may not be enormous, these numbers are per individual, and when you add up all those individuals, it’s very clear that whites are responsible for the majority of greenhouse gases emitted as a result of their food choices,” Bozeman said.
In drafting policies to improve environmental policy, restricted what white people are permitted to eat may not be too far off.
“If you are going to draft policies that may reduce the amount of land-intensive oranges, we need to think about other less resource-intensive sources of vitamin C,” Bozeman said. ”
It gets more complex as you look closely at the food pipeline and how different populations engage with it, but we are now starting to get a better understanding on these complex dynamics in such a way that we can begin to rationally take steps to improve environmental quality.”
The reaction on social media suggests the absurdity of the study may damage the environment more because of all the extra carbon dioxide emitted while laughing hysterically.

So you are officially declaring certain food choices a racist issue? Linking a diet (SAD) to white people to killing the environment. How low can you go?
