Attorney General William Barr delivered the news on Sunday that special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigationĀ did not find evidenceĀ that President Trump or members of his campaign conspired with Russia to influence the 2016 election, nor did they find sufficient evidence that Trump obstructed justice.
And being the sore losers they are, the Democratic Party is throwing a fit, eschewing the facts to create their own reality — the goal, of course, is not so much about trying to hold Trump accountable as much as it is to tarnish him so badly that he will never be reelected in November 2020.
Seizing on the smallest of cracks provided by Mueller, who said in his final report that the investigation “does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him,”Ā House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler is pushing on with his own partisan witch hunt, as seen in a Sunday press conference in New York.
An event that provided Nadler with immediate feedback — sort of.
Openly challenging Attorney General William Barrās conclusion, saying it raises more questions than answers, Nadler was clear he will pursue obstruction of justice charges against Trump — an effort to milk the Mueller report for all it’s worth.
āCongress must step in to get the truth,” said Nadler, who announced that he will be calling on Barr to testify before his committee.
Never mind that Mueller spent almost two years and more than $30 million dollars digging on President Trump.
Fittingly, Nadler was heckled while spouting his political rhetoric.
āYou guys are a bunch of losers! Good job, dirtbags, good job!ā a heckler can be heard shouting as the Democratic lawmaker spoke.

The man continues to heckle Nadler, who more than once shows his annoyance at being interrupted — and this is in his own backyard in New York.

In a letter to congressional leaders summarizing the Mueller report, Barr and Deputy Attorney General RodĀ Rosenstein concluded that President Trump didn’t commit an obstruction offense.
Barr wrote:
āAfter reviewing the Special Counselās final report on these issues, consulting with Department officials, including the Office of Legal Counsel; and applying the principles of federal prosecution that guide our charging decision, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and I have concluded that the evidence developed during the Special Counselās investigation is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction-of-justice offense.ā
But Nadler and his Democratic cohorts have a political agenda to pursue.
The House Judiciary chair tweeted:Ā “In light of the very concerning discrepancies and final decision-making at the Justice Department following the Special Counsel report, where Mueller did not exonerate the President, we will be calling Attorney General Barr in to testify before @HouseJudiciary in the near future.”

But then, Nadler is just following his marching orders, as seen in a statement from HouseĀ SpeakerĀ Nancy PelosiĀ and Senate Minority LeaderĀ Chuck Schumer, who are calling for the release ofĀ Muellerās report in its entirety in a joint statement.
āAttorney General Barrās letter raises as many questions as it answers,ā the statement said. āThe fact that Special Counsel Muellerās report does not exonerate the president on a charge as serious as obstruction of justice demonstrates how urgent it is that the full report and underlying documentation be made public without any further delay.ā
Naturally, the Democratic leaders accused Barr of being biased.
āGiven Mr. Barrās public record of bias against the Special Counselās inquiry, he is not a neutral observer and is not in a position to make objective determinations about the report,ā Pelosi and Schumer said in the release.
