Just hours after the House passed a resolution “condemning hate” and essentially excusing Rep. Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitic remarks, the freshman congresswoman took to Twitter and proved she had learned nothing.
The Minnesota Democrat retweeted an attack on Meghan McCain who had emotionally condemned anti-Semitism on “The View” while calling Omar’s comments “very scary.”

McCain took a lot of heat for her stand on Thursday, as co-hosts Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin seemed to downplay Omar’s rhetoric while she countered the bigotry by calling it out.

The left raked her over the coals for her tears and “selective outrage,” prompting McCain to respond on Twitter.

Intercept columnist Mehdi Hasan slammed McCain for her “faux outrage over a former refugee-turned-freshman-representative” while taking a shot at her father, the late Sen. John McCain.
Meghan’s late father literally sang ‘bomb bomb bomb Iran’ and insisted on referring to his Vietnamese captors as ‘gooks’. He also, lest we forget, gave the world Sarah Palin.
So a little less faux outrage over a former refugee-turned-freshman-representative pls. https://t.co/zH6VZxBYc4

The Georgetown University adjunct professor got the approval of Omar who retweeted his attack.

Seems the Democrat wasn’t too sorry about the uproar she had already caused in her own party over her recent controversial remarks, getting back to Twitter just hours after the House voted on the broadened resolution condemning hatred on Thursday.
Initially sparked by outrage over anti-Semitic comments by the Muslim congresswoman, the resolution expanded to include Latinos, Asian Americans and LGBT people in a broad list of groups which could be subjected to hate speech. After a contentious day of internal struggle as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi fought to unite her colleagues, the resolution, which never mentioned Omar by name, passed with a 407-to-23 vote.
Pelosi was roundly criticized for caving in to the demands of activists and the progressives in her own party, as she essentially joined the left’s chorus of defense for Omar.

Omar’s retweet of Hasan’s attack on McCain Thursday ignited renewed backlash against the Somali American immigrant for not showing any remorse and condoning the insulting jab at the late senator.
Even if he were alive and well, it would still be in awful taste

Sorry. Dunking on an American war hero is disgraceful.
Whether it come from President Trump or a freshman congresswoman. @SpeakerPelosi needs to shut this congress member down. She’s daily giving Democrats a bad name. https://t.co/PoMyYwanCx— J&JDebut (@JJDebut) March 8, 2019
Ilhan Omar trying to dunk on the McCain family feels like the right way for this day to end

And this just barely a week after Republicans were scorched for Michelle Malkin’s rebuke of McCain in a fiery speech at the 2019 Conservative Political Action Conference.
Twitter users called out Omar’s retweet on Thursday for what it was.

The thing about Pelosi caving to Omar is that she knows that she can up her anti-Semitism game with the tacit approval of her party leaders now. https://t.co/HTUjYM1IBg

.@IlhanMN seriously cannot help herself. She’s obviously not remorseful about her anti-semitism. She’s just mad people are talking about it. https://t.co/nsgqa6u1Gf

She won. Why would she tone it down now? https://t.co/gcn1ia8GoJ
