On Saturday a liberal Twitter activist attempted to shame Hollywood actor James Woods for not speaking up about the Trump administration’s alleged abuse of illegal alien children. In response, the outspoken conservative actor crushed him in one fell swoop.
The debacle started Saturday afternoon when Woods posted a news story about a Missouri daycare employee who went missing after she was charged by local authorities with felony child abuse for having reportedly tossed a 3-year-old against a cabinet and caused the child’s head to split open.

He wanted his over two million followers to share the story so that the word could get out about the missing woman, Wilma Brown, and the public could hopefully help authorities locate her.
Now enter a Twitter user named “mysterysolver.” A cursory glance of his feed shows that he’s a far-left activist who’s fond of neither President Donald Trump, his family nor his administration.
“With all of these followers at your beck and call, imagine how you could help all the children on the border getting abused in government run detention camps. Use your power for good,” he tweeted to Woods, echoing a canard touted by the more radical elements of the media:

Instead of humoring the Twitter user’s inane claims, Woods dropped a truth bomb on him.
“Let me address their parents: Don’t break the immigration laws of the United States and you won’t end up in a detention camp. That help?” he bluntly wrote.

All of them were spouting facts, something that those left-wing activists like “mysterysolver” who only consume left-wing media typically know very little about.
Regarding the left-wing activist’s primary claim, it’s false. While it’s true thousands of illegal alien children have reported experiencing sexual harassment and/or abuse while in detention, the Trump administration has made it clear that most of these claims are fraudulent.
“The vast majority of allegations prove to be unfounded when they are investigated by state law enforcement and federal law enforcement and the state licensure authorities to whom we refer them,” U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps commander Jonathan White said at a congressional hearing last month.
Jonathan Hayes, the acting director of the Office of Refugee Resettlement, added in a statement at the time that the vast majority of the allegations pertained to behavior between the illegal alien minors, i.e., the kids were allegedly harassing and abusing one another.
And regarding the separation of illegal alien children from their illegal alien parents, that’s an Obama-era policy that’s necessary, as Twitter user “C Reed,” a police officer, made clear.
When illegal aliens families are apprehended crossing into the states, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement must either detain them or let them go.
Were they to just release the aliens into American communities, the U.S. would become an open-borders nation. Since that’s a no-no, ICE instead detains them. However, illegal alien children are separated from their parents and sent to upscale detention facilities to wait for their immigration hearings.

It remains unclear whether “mysterysolver” believes illegal alien children would fare better in the jail-like detention facilities that their parents must endure.
The scathing reply Woods posted Saturday was just one of many similar tweets he posted throughout the week.
Earlier Saturday he called presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders’ supporters’ “bobbleheads:”
