Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore blasted Democrat Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for her epic environmental ignorance and hypocrisy.
Moore was reacting to news that AOC (a.k.a. – “Bronx Bolshevik“) is a rabid consumer of gas-guzzling car services like Uber and Lyft. Meanwhile, she tells everyone else that we should take the bus — or the world will end in 12 years.
AOC: Public Transportation for Thee, But Not For Me
New York Post reporters Isabel Vincent and Melissa Klein exposed Ocasio-Cortez in a damning article entitled “Gas-guzzling car rides expose AOC’s hypocrisy amid Green New Deal pledge.”
The duo observed in their viral New York Post story:
“Freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to save the planet with her Green New Deal, but she keeps tripping over her own giant carbon footprint.
Since declaring her candidacy in May 2017, Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign heavily relied on those combustible-engine cars — even though a subway station was just 138 feet from her Elmhurst campaign office.
She listed 1,049 transactions for Uber, Lyft, Juno and other car services, federal filings show.
In all, Ocasio-Cortez spent $29,365.70 on those emissions-spewing vehicles, along with car and van rentals — even though her Queens HQ was a one-minute walk to the 7 train.
The campaign shelled out only $8,335.41 on 52 MetroCard transactions.
By comparison, fellow freshman Rep. Max Rose — whose district is more than twice the size of AOC’s and, like hers, spans two boroughs — listed only 329 transactions for car services, totaling $6,091.29, campaign filings show.”
Moore: AOC Is Too Dumb to Know How Dumb She Is
Environmental activist Patrick Moore — the co-founder of Greenpeace — torched Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s comical hypocrisy on Twitter:
“Whoops, AOC is a gas-guzzler. If only she realized that the CO2 she is emitting was helping plants grow healthier and increasing crop yields on farms around NYC. Then she could be sane.
It seems many people agree that AOC is a bit too big for her britches. I’m in good company here.
POTUS is right to encourage her to keep blathering insanity. There can’t be 5% who support giving up planes, hamburgers, gasoline, and reliable electricity.”

Moore to AOC: You’re a ‘Pompous Little Twit’
In February 2019, Moore blasted AOC as a “pompous little twit…If fossil fuels were banned, every tree in the world would be cut down for fuel for cooking and heating. You would bring about mass death.”

Patrick Moore then used a pie chart to demonstrate that Ocasio-Cortez’s irrational, half-baked Green New Deal would “eradicate all life on Earth.”

Moore said AOC spews her nonsensical policy ideas at liberals because “she thinks Democrats are stupid enough to believe her.”

Moore added that in 1986, he left the environmental activist group he co-founded because of crazed leftists like Ocasio-Cortez.
“I left Greenpeace 33 years ago when they were hijacked by leftists like AOC,” he tweeted.
Thin-Skinned AOC Reacts to ‘Gas-Guzzling’ Story
The thin-skinned Ocasio-Cortez — who gets triggered by the smallest criticism — reacted by angrily snarking on Twitter:
“I also fly and use A/C. Living in the world as it is isn’t an argument against working towards a better future.
The Green New Deal is about putting a LOT of people to work in developing new technologies, building new infrastructure, and getting us to 100% renewable energy.”
Basically, AOC is saying that her detractors should be reasonable in their assessments of her unreasonable policy ideas. In other words, “socialism for thee, but not for me.”
New Yorkers Furious at AOC Over Amazon Debacle
As BizPac Review reported, Ocasio-Cortez is still reeling from the volcanic bipartisan backlash she stirred when she chased Amazon out of New York.
Alfredo Ortiz, the CEO of the Job Creators Network, ripped OAC for promoting socialism, a failed ideology that caused the once-prosperous Venezuela to crater into poverty.
“Socialism takes and capitalism creates,” Ortiz said. “Socialism took away 25,000 to 40,000 great-paying jobs. We calculated somewhere between $4 billion to $6 billion in lost wages for New Yorkers.”
“We have economic illiteracy in this country. [Ocasio-Cortez] is taking a victory lap while thousands of people lost the American dream.”
