Gorka calls CNN analyst ‘a dangerous lunatic’ for comparing Trump’s CPAC speech to Hitler, suggests Putin wrote it

Now, this is one angry lady.

CNN long ago set the standard when it comes to attacking President Donald Trump, that being that there is no standard, and the network continued this proud tradition in responding to the president’s two-hour speech Saturday at the 2019 Conservative Political Action Conference in National Harbor, Md.

A speech that prompted CNN analyst Sam Vinograd, a former member of President Obama’s national security council, to compare Trump to Hitler, reminding viewers of the 6 million Jews who died as a result of the Nazi leader.

“His statement makes me sick, on a personal level,” Vinograd said. “Preserving your heritage, reclaiming our heritage, that sounds a lot like a certain leader that killed members of my family and about six million other Jews in the 1940s. But our national security level, the president talks about preserving our heritage as a catch-all for implementing policies that misallocate resources.”

What got her so upset?

Trump standing up for the country in pushing his “America first” agenda, of course.

“The men and women here today are on the front lines of protecting America’s interests,” the president said Saturday. “Defending America’s values, and reclaiming our nation’s priceless heritage. With your help, we are reversing decades of blunders and betrayals. These are serious, serious betrayals to our nation and to everything we stand for. It’s been done by the failed ruling class that enriched foreign countries at our expense. It wasn’t America first, in many cases it was America last. Those days are over, long over.”

He also noted that there are people in Congress “who hate our country” — this being hard-left Democrats who are forever talking about “transforming” America, which is conveniently ignored by their media allies.

But the political shill was just getting warmed up, as Vinograd all but read from the Democratic Party’s talking points, suggesting President Trump is a white nationalist and a Kremlin operative.

And, naturally, downplaying the reality that there is a crisis on our southern border.

“He pretends there are massive flows of illegal immigrants coming over our borders and is spending billions of dollars on a border wall emergency,” she said. “Instead of paying attention to real national security threats. He sounds a lot like despotic leaders that have talked about white heritage and white nationalism around the world and is putting resources in the wrong place, and pretending that there are foreign people trying to influence our country in a way that just isn’t accurate.”

The CNN analyst would then extend this perception to Trump’s supporters, saying his message “speaks to his base.”

“By the way, this whole CPAC speech, how many pieces, parts of President Putin’s to-do list was President Trump trying to accomplish today?” Vinograd asked.

“[Trump] denigrated our institution, the Department of Justice and U.S. Congress,” she added. “He spread misinformation and conspiracy theories, he undermined the credibility of several of our institutions, he sewed divisions, he sewed confusion, he was speaking to his base, but he was also saying things that really looked like Vladimir Putin scripted his speech. So it helped him perhaps with his base, and politically, while at the same time, making Russia’s job a lot easier.”

This tripe is passed off as intelligent thought on a network committed to destroying this president — Vinograd must not have gotten the memo that special counsel Robert Mueller is expected to disappoint those who believe Donald Trump is a KBG agent secretly implanted in the White House.

Former Trump aide Sebastian Gorka summed it up in a tweet: “Who is this woman. What a dangerous lunatic.”
