Economically illiterate congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez isn’t the only one being mocked by billboards.
On Friday a scathing billboard sprang up across the street from CNN’s Hollywood headquarters mocking the far-left network for its flawed and biased coverage of President Donald Trump’s summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un.
The billboard featured a photo of CEO Jeff Zucker; the CNN logo coupled with the words “Communist News Network;” a fake quote from Zucker that reads, “Keep North Korea divided;” and a disclaimer revealing Zucker’s motivations: “because OrangeManBad.”
See the billboard in the video below:
The billboard was erected by The Faction, a group of conservative street artists fed up with both Hollywood and the left-wing media’s constant attacks on Trump.
After the president walked away from negotiations Wednesday with Kim because of the dictator’s refusal to commit to denuclearization, CNN seemed to almost take pleasure in seeing the summit fall apart. If nothing else, it offered the network a chance to mock him.
“I think what will become clear is that the president staked a lot of his presidency on something that is just much more difficult than reality TV. This is not something that can be wrapped up in a season of ‘The Apprentice,'” CNN’s chief White House correspondent and known grandstander Jim Acosta condescendingly boasted following the summit Wednesday.
Never mind that walking away from a negotiation is itself a negotiation strategy, as anyone who’s ever read Trump’s 2015 book, “The Art of the Deal,” already knows.
Acosta also seemed to mock the president for trying to flatter Kim.
“The president made some strong statements about his affection for the North Korean dictator, showing off the economic boom that has taken place in Vietnam, as a road map for North Korea if they came back into the community of nations. But that doesn’t seem to be enough for Kim Jong-un,” he said.
Listen:
Stunningly opinionated rhetoric like this — which is commonplace at CNN — was what drove The Faction into striking back Friday with a billboard.
“When Trump speaks glowingly of Kim Jong Un it’s a tactic,” an unnamed member of the group said to The Hollywood Reporter. “Zucker and his journo-activists know this, but are more than willing to try to torpedo the summit — the future of the long-suffering North and South Korean people be damned.”
CNN isn’t The Faction’s first target, nor will it be the last.
Two months ago the group defaced a billboard ad for liberal comedian and political commentator Bill Maher’s HBO talk show, “Real Time.”

“For progressivism’s tragic devotees at HBO, sadly, the idea that they’re still speaking truth to power survives in the form of fan fiction like Real Time With Bill Maher,” a spokesperson for The Faction said at the time.
“Real Time” primarily features left-wing commentators and pretend journalists trash-talking conservatives, including the president. Once in a blue moon, a conservative like Ann Coulter is invited to appear.
A month later in February, the group hijacked a billboard ad for left-wing comedian and political commentator John Oliver, who hosts his own show on HBO.
Look:
Some people hijacked a John Oliver Billboard and made it read “The Orange Man Bad Show” as well as making John Oliver an NPC.

The term NPC refers to “non-player character.” While it refers to video game characters that are controlled by a computer, conservatives have appropriated it to describe activists, commentators and “journalists” who endlessly spout left-wing talking points like a robot.
What makes CNN’s NPC-like behavior particularly galling is that it purports to be an objective news network. Yet as noted by high-powered Democrat political powerbroker Andre Fladell, that’s not the case.
In a speech last month, he rightly noted that at least CNN’s competitors admit their biases up front.
“Chris Mathews, Chris Hayes, Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, Al Sharpton — they don’t pretend to be news. They pretend to be commentators,” he said.
“That’s what the First Amendment’s about. … That’s what commentary properly should be. But when CNN pretends that Jake Tapper, Wolf Blitzer and John Berman are news programs and journalists, and they give you the same garbage as every other commentator, then I have a question that the country’s being misrepresented and the news of the world is being misrepresented.”

Was he wrong? A veritable army of social media users would’re as happy as can be about The Faction’s billboard would probably say no:
