The MAGA hat-wearing teens from Covington Catholic High School were invited to the White House by President Donald Trump. However, their visit has apparently been delayed amid the ongoing government shutdown.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham tweeted an update walking back her initial reports that the teens were set to visit the White House today (Jan. 23).
Ingraham wrote: “White House now seems to be in flux re: Covington Catholic kids. Announced any meeting would happen after shutdown. Odd, as it would be less meaningful if delayed.”

Nathan Phillips Lied about Vietnam War Service
This week, President Trump reacted to the defamatory media reports claiming that MAGA hat-wearing teen Nick Sandmann had harassed a left-wing Native American activist named Nathan Phillips.
Phillips ― who lied about being a Vietnam War veteran ― claimed the students from Covington Catholic High School had approached, threatened, and bullied him.
But an unedited video of the encounter shows that Phillips’ account is false.
The students were in Washington to attend a pro-life march with their school. It was Nathan Phillips who proactively approached the teens and banged his drums loudly in front of 16-year-old Nick Sandmann’s face.
Sandmann did not move or say anything ― despite rampant media lies claiming he and his classmates had made racist slurs at the Native American man.

President Trump reacted by noting that the incident is yet another example of the anti-Trump media spreading lies to push a false narrative.
“Nick Sandmann and the students of Covington have become symbols of Fake News and how evil they can be,” Trump tweeted.

CNN Panelist Race-Baits Again
Predictably, CNN’s race-baiting Angela Rye jumped to attack President Trump over the incident.
“Once again, this president is demonizing one side,” Rye huffed. “He’s demonizing the media, which is his favorite enemy to pick on, and also taking the side against this Native American.”
We have to remember what was actually happening at that time. That was an Indigenous People’s march. That’s been forgotten in all of this. He had every right to be there too. He had every right to stand his ground.
It’s so interesting that instead of using this platform as commander-in-chief to bring people together…he’s again choosing sides and doubling down on some of the most hateful rhetoric, bigotry, zenophobia that we have seen in years.
Earth to Angela: The teens also had every right to be there. They were attending the Right To Life march with their high school. Thanks to the irresponsible media, these kids were doxxed and have received multiple death threats.
‘Whites, Go Back To Europe! This Is Not Your Land!’
Many observers say the teens were targeted by the media because they wore MAGA hats and were Catholic and white.
The only people who shouted racist slurs were the companions of the Native American activists (video below).
One of the activists yelled at the teens: “White people, go back to Europe where you came from! This is not your land!”

Litigator Robert Barnes ― who is representing the Covington Catholic students for free ― is giving the media and anyone who made false statements about the teens 48 hours to retract and apologize or be sued.
