Nicolle Wallace can’t find a trace of bigotry in Dem party: ‘There isn’t a strain of racism on the left’

MSNBC political commentator Nicolle Wallace, a former adviser to the late Sen. John McCain 2008 election campaign, believes the Democrat Party contains no trace of racism. Not even an iota.

Speaking Tuesday morning with a group of white panelists about the alleged racism of Rep. Steve King, she asserted that there’s no parallel racism and bigotry on the left side of the aisle.

“This does not have a parallel on the left. It doesn’t. There isn’t. There isn’t a strain of racism on the left,” she said, single-handedly dismissing the Democrat Party’s entire 191-year history of racism and bigotry against blacks, against Jews and, most recently, against whites.

It’s unclear whether Democrat Reps. Maxine Waters and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, both of whom believe in racial quotas, have been made aware that Wallace’s panel only contained whites.

The discussion Tuesday specifically centered on the alleged racism of King, who during an interview with The New York Times last week made the following controversial remark: ““White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization — how did that language become offensive?”

During a speech delivered on the House floor later last week, the 16-year congressional veteran pushed back against what the Times implied, claiming that his words had been taken out of context.

He explained that he had been speaking with the Times about how the left has developed a habit of using loaded terms such as “white supremacist, “white nationalist” and “Nazi” to demean, disparage, discredit and ultimately silence anyone with an opposing political viewpoint.

“That’s the foundation for that discussion … and in that also was discussion of other terms that had been used almost always unjustly labeling otherwise innocent people,” King continued.

That’s true. Even Candace Owens, a black political commentator, has been smeared as a “white supremacist” because of her political views, which like King’s views lean heavily to the right.

“The word racist, the word Nazi, the word fascist, the phrase white nationalist, the phrase white supremacist — they even are derogatory towards Western civilization, which is the foundation for the American civilization,” King added, arguing that the left uses these terms to even smear history.

Members of both the establishment right and establishment left have chosen to ignore King’s explanation, with Republicans condemning and censuring the congressman, and their peers across the aisle using his alleged racism to impugn the entire Republican Party.

To specifically impugn all members of the Republican Party — including presumably its minority members as well — for being racists, bigots and veritable white supremacists in disguise.

One of Wallace’s white guests, former Obama era official Matthew Miller, expressed this exact point Tuesday, saying that the Republican Party “would have to completely reinvent” itself in order to not be racist, because racism is essentially “the message of the party.”

It’s not clear whether Wallace, Miller and everybody else in the Democrat Party and the Democrat-aligned media realize that they’re behaving exactly as King noted.

It’s also not known whether they realize that throwing stones from glass houses never bodes well.

Earlier this week on “The View,” Tamika D. Mallory, the national co-chair of the Democrat Party-backed Women’s March, refused to condemn notorious anti semite Louis Farrakhan.

Listen:

Just last week newly elected Muslim Rep. Rashida Tlaib was photographed with a known antisemite who supports the terrorist group Hezbollah:

Last year a staffer of then-Florida Democrat gubernatorial nominee Andrew Gillum referred to the state as a “cracker state” because of its predominantly white demographics.

Listen:

These are just three examples. A near-limitless number of additional examples of Democrat Party racism and bigotry exists, yet according to Wallace, these examples are apparently just figments of deranged people’s imagination. Except according to social media, she’s the deranged one.
