Angel mom offers to bring Nancy & Chuck her son’s ashes to give them perspective on what’s ‘immoral’

An Angel Mom offered to give Democrat leaders a grim “show and tell” reminder of the consequences of not securing the southern U.S. border.

Sabine Durden carries with her the ashes of her son, who was killed at 30 years old when an illegal immigrant slammed into his motorcycle, and wants House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Chuck Schumer to understand what the fight for a border wall means.

Durden, a legal German immigrant, reacted to a tweet from President Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign manager, Brad Pascale.

“Would Nancy, Chuck and their friends in the media have the courage to look an angel mom in the eyes and lecture them about a wall being “immoral”?” Pascale wrote Wednesday, referring to Pelosi’s rant last week against funding a border wall which she called an “immorality.”

“Democrats need to stop putting politics ahead of the safety of American citizens. #BuildTheWall,” Pascale tweeted.

Durden responded with a tweet volunteering to bring the ashes of her only child to Pelosi and Schumer as a message.

According to Breitbart News:

Durden’s son Dominic Durden came to the U.S. with his family in 1992, at the age of ten. He was a 911 dispatcher for the Riverside Sheriff’s Department and had dreams of becoming a Police helicopter pilot. He received awards posthumously for his extensive community involvement and volunteerism.

An illegal alien driving without a license and with two prior DUI convictions slammed into Dominic Durden and his motorcycle in July 2012, killing the young man. The offender spent just 35 days in jail for killing Dominic.

Durden spoke at an event hosted by Trump at the White House last year giving “angel families” a platform to share their tragic stories of loved ones killed by those illegally here in the U.S.

“I’m one of your legal immigrants,” Durden said after Trump introduced her, saying her story was an “incredible” one.

“I didn’t drag him over borders through deserts,” Durden said, holding up a large photo of her son and a container of his ashes. “I didn’t place him in harm’s way.”

Durden’s tweet on Wednesday sparked an outpouring of support on Twitter and was followed up with another call to Democrats.

Twitter users echoed her remarks and praised her courage.
