President Trump’s first 2020 campaign ad fresh out of the gates already driving the left bananas

Supporters of President Donald Trump were asked to call in and “deliver a personal thank you” in what appears to be the first campaign ad for his re-election bid.

Campaign manager Brad Parscale addresses viewers in the minute-long 2020 campaign video advertisement.

“President Trump has achieved more during his time in office than any president in history. That is why we need every Trump supporter to pick up a phone right now and deliver a personal thank you to your president,” Parscale said.

“We have a booming economy, historic low unemployment, including the lowest unemployment rate for minorities in history. We are bringing jobs back to America through new trade deals, and the world is a safer place,” he narrated.

“We need to let President Trump know that we appreciate what he’s doing for America. I need you to call the number on your screen and deliver a thank you to President Trump,” Parscale instructed.

The video included clips of Americans thanking the president with a narrator urging supporters to call or go online.

“I called the number and it leads to a fundraising appeal (not unusual for pres campaigns),” journalist Yashar Ali tweeted Monday.

The Huffington Post and New York Magazine contributor first shared the video Monday night and told The Washington Post that he caught it on the air toward the end of CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360,”  as he watched from the Southern California area.

The Washington Post reported:

So, what happens when someone calls the number listed in the ad? A prompt urges you to state your name and leave a brief message for the president, thanking him for his work. Then Parscale appeals for donations to Trump’s campaign. He again praises the strength of the economy, citing “lower regulations, massive tax cuts and renegotiated trade deals that put America first.”

Parscale noted how “enforcing our immigration laws are making Americans safer,” before going on to address “fake news media and far-left Democrats.”

“But President Trump is under vicious, daily attacks from the fake news media and far-left Democrats who want to implement the radical socialist agenda,” Parscale continued in the recording. “They will stop at nothing to overturn the election and remove your president from office.”

Listeners opting to continue the call without making a donation got to hear from Trump’s campaign manager again.

“I understand a contribution is a lot to ask for, but President Trump is asking for your support now, before it’s too late,” he urged. “We must protect the Trump presidency for the American people.”

Naturally, Trump’s critics were quick to jump in with their negative feedback on the ad.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’RE MISSING …

Parscale, who was the digital media director for Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, helped launch non-profit organization, America First Policies, to promote Trump’s agenda.
