“Everybody Loves Raymond” star Patricia Heaton suggested that Time magazine consider award-winning actor Gary Sinese for its “Person of the Year,” citing his herculean efforts to help wounded military veterans.
We know that’s never going to happen because Sinise is a staunch Republican, but a gal can dream.
Heaton tweeted: “Hey Time, why isn’t Gary Sinise ever on the Person of the Year list? Hey Academy, why isn’t he ever picked for the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award? He raises $30 million a year to build homes for wounded vets along with his Gold Star family support.”
Heaton’s suggestion went viral on Twitter, receiving more than 52,000 likes after being retweeted over 26,000 times.
Hey @TIME , why isn’t @GarySinise ever on the Person of the Year list? Hey @TheAcademy , why isn’t he ever picked for the #jeanhersholt humanitarian award? He raises $30M a year to build homes for wounded vets along with his #goldstarfamily support. Retweet! https://t.co/pj7BGEN7Ds

Sinese — an Emmy Award-winning actor who starred in the 1994 blockbuster “Forrest Gump” — founded the Gary Sinise Foundation in 2011, a nonprofit that supports wounded veterans, first responders, and their families.
Actor James Woods called Sinise “one of the very finest civilian Americans out there.”
I’m taking the liberty of posting a screen grab of @GarySinise’s immediate response regarding our Navy vet’s funeral request. Honestly Gary is one of the very finest civilian Americans out there… pic.twitter.com/ZxysumSyPV

Sinise has been honored for his charity work by the United States Navy, which praised his generous support for the troops and the tens of millions of dollars he raises every year for countless charities.
Caravan migrants demand that Trump let them in or pay $50,000 each to go away
This week, the left-wing Time magazine awarded “killed and imprisoned journalists” its “Person of the Year.” Among them was Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi reporter for the Washington Post who was murdered in Saudi Arabia under suspicious circumstances.
The liberal media have been wailing around-the-clock, demanding that the Trump administration declare war on Saudi Arabia over its alleged killing of Khashoggi, who had ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, a radical, anti-American terrorist organization.
Thankfully, President Trump said the murder of pro-Al Qaeda Jamal Khashoggi — a foreign national killed on foreign soil — is not the USA’s problem.
Four 'Time Magazine Men of the Year':
➡️ Khashoggi said the USA deserved 9/11 because it supports Israel.
➡️ Khomeini wants to destroy the Jewish State.
➡️ Stalin banned Judaism.
➡️ Hitler murdered 6 million Jews.We think we spot a pattern… pic.twitter.com/aEnmnkzbE8

Flashback: Remember how the liberal media laughed when Otto Warmbier (a US citizen) was arrested and tortured in North Korea?
They said Otto deserved his fate because of his “white privilege.” Compare this to the media’s reverential treatment of Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi Arabian citizen who was murdered by the Saudis.
Leftist media blamed Otto Warmbier’s white privilege for his arrest. What about his murder? https://t.co/Fxrcb9M5tV pic.twitter.com/LxfX9x6RZZ

Liberals never condemned Barack Obama for doing NOTHING to help Otto, who died at age 22 in June 2017, after President Trump secured his release.
Otto Warmbier’s dad thanked President Trump for bringing his son home, and said Obama told him to stay silent about Otto’s captivity.
