Avenatti responds after accuser’s court filing includes photos, claims he ‘dragged’ her on floor in her undies

The actress accusing Michael Avenatti of domestic abuse claims he not only “dragged” her from an apartment leaving her with red marks and scratches, it’s not the first time he had been aggressive.

According to photos submitted to court, Mareli Miniutti sustained injuries on the evening of Nov. 13 when the lawyer allegedly left her in a public hallway dressed only in a T-shirt and underwear after dragging her from his apartment following an argument over money, NBC News reported.

Avenatti, who was arrested last week on suspicion of felony domestic abuse the next day, reportedly became verbally abusive, calling Miniutti an “ungrateful f****** b****.

Photos of her alleged injuries were submitted to the court.

The 24-year-old Estonian actress identified on Monday, said the two had been dating since last October, and described the incident in a sworn declaration. A judge on Monday granted Miniutti’s request for a temporary restraining order as the 47-year-old attorney for porn star Stormy Daniels maintained his innocence.

According to court documents, Miniutti claimed she and Avenatti got into an argument and as she retreated to the guest bedroom of the Los Angeles apartment, he followed her and got “very close to me in a threatening manner that made me feel afraid.” He allegedly began hitting her with pillows and said, “Do not disrespect me. You don’t get to sleep in my house tonight.”

Grabbing her right wrist, he allegedly attempted to drag her out of the bed and took her phone when she started to text someone, according to the filing for the restraining order, NBC News reported.

“He dragged me on the floor of the apartment towards and out of the door into the public hallway,” she said in the three-page declaration. “I was wearing only my underwear and a T-shirt at the time, and suffered scratches to the bare skin on my side and leg.”

Miniutti claimed he pulled her back inside after she started ringing a neighbor’s doorbell. He also allegedly blocked the door to prevent her exit and then followed her as she got dressed, leaving the apartment, saying, “Don’t do this … don’t involve them.” The front desk personnel at the building called security after she approached them with what happened.

“I have never been physically abusive in my life nor was I last night. Any accusations to the contrary are fabricated and meant to do harm to my reputation. I look forward to being fully exonerated,” Avenatti said in a statement after his arrest.

He has maintained his innocence in a series of tweets, and claimed Miniutti posted photos of herself hours after the alleged incident, apparently bruise-free. Avenatti demanded that footage from the building’s security cameras be released.

Miniutti has requested a permanent restraining order against the lawyer and claimed this incident wasn’t the first time something like this has happened, alleging that a drunk Avenatti once pushed her in a hallway, causing her to  hit her head, and threw shoes at her.

The lawyer “has a history of being very verbally abusive and financially controlling towards me,” and he “made promises to ‘take care of me’ financially and sometimes fails to follow through,” she reportedly said, according to Fox News.

Meanwhile, Michael Miniutti, the actress’s estranged husband, has spoken out about the reports.

“No man has a right to raise a hand to a woman. Period,” he told Daily Mail, which reported that he responded, “No comment,” when asked if he was still married to the actress.

Miniutti, who reportedly works for a consulting firm in New York City, was caught on video calling police on reporters who apparently would not leave him alone.

Avenatti, who is demanding due process despite his own treatment of then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh as he represented a woman accusing him of sexual harassment. said he will be proven innocent.

“I have not been charged with any crime,” Avenatti said. “When all of the facts and evidence, including the security footage, the Instagram posts, and physical evidence is disclosed — which I desperately want — I will be proven innocent. I have done nothing wrong.”
