Because Democrats in Georgia lost out on the race for governor, actress/liberal activist Alyssa Milano wants to punish the state by targeting the entertainment industry there — which would likely result in those who saw their candidate fall short losing their jobs.
That’ll show em… or more likely, it shows that you really can’t fix stupid.
Today’s progressives are scary in how simple-minded their grasp on life really is, as seen when Milano responded to hard-left Democrat Stacy Abrams acknowledging her Republican opponent, Brian Kemp, won the election.
“Democracy failed in Georgia,” Abrams said, as she rebuked the “rotten and rigged” election process — and Milano picked right up on the narrative.
“There are over 20 productions shooting in Georgia. Is the entertainment industry willing to support the economy of a totally corrupt state that suppresses democracy; where the winner isn’t the best choice for the people but the best schemer or crook?” the actress tweeted.

Milano seems willing to eschew the democratic process of electing government officials over radical liberals deciding on who is the “best choice for the people.”
God help us if these people ever get a serious foothold on power in this country.
As seen in the responses to Milano’s inane suggestion, many of those employed in the entertainment industry in Georgia are Abrams supporters and would be hurt the most.
As for the rest of the state, they’re not all that keen on the industry to begin with. Here’s a sampling of the responses from Twitter:

I am a liberal, working actor here in Atlanta and like many, MANY others, fought hard against Kemp. I love the industry, I love my home, I love my family and friends. Please stop encouraging the industry to leave…But I guess we can all go to Hollywood and take your jobs. ??

This is such a privileged view from the bubble of California. No consideration for the people who work in the industry, many of whom may strongly support Stacey Abrams and her ideals. Quite appalling.

Translation: “I don’t like the icky people who vote differently from me.”
Gee, I wonder why people are rejecting celebrity endorsements?

The tax increases you voted for in CA are what moved those productions to Georgia, @Alyssa_Milano. Thanks for writing. https://t.co/NuxvYlu9Nu

So you call winning an honest election is depressing democracy when your person doesn't win? You should seek mental health therapy. https://t.co/1tifJ0tgNj

Same ol' liberal bull sh*t you see in North Carolina. Disagree with the state's politics? Boycott it. Not a single person should have a job in the state until its politics matches up with the left. Bitches. https://t.co/eSiYzmSn7K
