Left-wing protesters heckled Rep. Marsha Blackburn during a moment of silence for the victims of the Tree of Life synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh.
The Tennessee Republican is running for the U.S. Senate and the fact that she was the target of protesters may be the best sign yet that she’s poised to win — the RCP average has Blackburn up +6.5.
That Sen. Lindsey Graham, who led the fight to confirm Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, was joining Blackburn only adding to the unhinged liberals’ motivation.
“Marsha Blackburn is a white supremacist,” a woman reportedly yelled out during the moment of silence, before being removed.

Knowing the left as we do, the fact that the staged political theater took place at that moment was surely not by accident.
“[H]ow despicable that you cannot even have a moment of silence,” the Republican lawmaker said, according to Think Progress’s Addy Baird.
As reported by BuzzFeed News political reporter Henry Gomez, the woman had lots of company, with some refusing to go quietly.

One of the liberal fanatics had to be “wrestled to the ground and handcuffed in order to be removed,” tweeted Fox News producer Jason Donner, who included video of the incident.

Some of those forcibly removed were said to be members of the violent Black Lives Matter group, according to Baird.

The great irony here being that while these Democrat operatives engage in such an uncivil manner, Democratic leaders react to recent events, to include last week’s mail bombings and the attack on a Pittsburgh synagogue, to lecture Republicans on civility and political rancor.

Graham certainly didn’t lose his sense of humor amid the partisan outbursts.
“First thing I want to say is, if there’s anymore protesters out there, now’s your time,” he reportedly told the crowd.

Meanwhile, Blackburn’s opponent released a statement conveniently rebuking the protesters acting in favor of his campaign.

Blackburn released her own statement, denouncing the “despicable” actions of the “liberal angry mob.”
