‘I jump to wherever I damn please, okay?’ Tempers flare on ‘The View’ as Dems ratchet up the false blame

With the left having established the narrative that the mail bomber and a gunman who opened fire at a Pittsburgh synagogue killing 11 were goaded into action by the rhetoric coming from President Donald Trump, the ladies on “The View” offered a rich lesson on the rank hypocrisy of the hate-filled left.

The show opened Monday with a focus on the recent events and Trump’s rhetoric was at the center of the conversation as the ladies discussed tone and civility — that the conversation touched so little on the rancor on the left to be expected.

The more liberal of the group eschewed personal responsibility and the idea that an individual is accountable for his or her actions, and at one point Behar advocated for stricter gun laws, which prompted a rebuke by McCain.

“I didn’t think we were going to have a conversation about AR-15s, but I’m happy to. I wanted to have a conversation about tolerance,” she said.

When coming back from a break, Behar mentioned Trump’s rallies as the discussion shifted to social media’s responsibility for allowing violent content from users.

“The media should stop covering those rallies of his, that’s my one recommendation,” Behar said, bringing it right back to Trump. “It just empowers him more.”

“That seems like a logical response to that question,” McCain replied, heavy on the sarcasm. “I mean, come on, we’re talking about social media’s impact and we jumped to Trump’s rallies.”

“I jump to wherever I damn please, okay?” Behar angrily fired back.

“That’s twice,” she added, letting McCain know she’s keeping score. “I’m not allowed to change the subject if I want to?”

“I just thought we were talking about social media,” McCain said.

“You talk about it then,” Behar said. “Go ahead.”

The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife — this is a relationship that bears watching, not that “conservative” ladies last all that long on the show anyway.

And in the face of Behar and her liberal cohorts condemning President Trump for his rhetoric, the hypocrisy of her angrily spewing hateful remarks a coworker is off the charts.
