Before Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer transformed into a #BelieveAllWomen activist who believes that anyone who questions a woman’s claims — no matter how unsubstantiated those claims might be — is a sexist and misogynist, he used to be, well, an actual sexist and misogynist.
Case in point: Guess how Schumer responded nine years ago when a U.S. Airways flight attendant politely asked him and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand to discontinue their phone calls so the flight could take off. If you guessed that he made a fuss and then called her a “bitch,” you win a prize.
“Mr. Schumer ended the call, but then argued that he was entitled to keep his phone on until the cabin door closed,” The New York Times reported in 2009. “When the flight attendant, whom Politico did not identify, walked away Mr. Schumer turned to Ms. Gillibrand and described the attendant as a ‘bitch.'”
What a woman’s champion, right? No. He’s neither that nor a role model.
“The senator made an off-the-cuff comment under his breath that he shouldn’t have made, and he regrets it,” spokesman Brian Fallon said at the time.
Gillibrand’s aide then reportedly issued her own statement saying, “Chuck did the right thing by apologizing.” For what? Wasn’t his behavior “polite?” Apparently not …
Stories like these matter because they highlight the never-ending hypocrisy of liberals. They’re the same charlatans who purport to be women’s champions, but then defend the likes of former President Bill Clinton and former Sen. Al Franken, both of were credibly accused of sexual assault.
They’re also the same charlatans who purport to be champions of minorities but then treat minorities who disobey them like utter garbage, and who purport to be believe in Western jurisprudence but only believe in the presumption of innocence when it suits them.
The latter point is especially important because Schumer and Gillibrand are among the far-left Democrats who’ve practically convicted Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of having sexually assaulted three women decades ago, despite there being no evidence to back up the women’s claims.
And according to the likes of Schumer and Gillibrand, anyone who dares to question the women’s flawed testimony is a sexist and misogynist. Except judging by their own actions, they’re everything they accuse others of being, including hypocrites, as noted by many on social media:
Chuck Schumer have the right temperament and character for Senator? NO! Gillibrand covering for Chuck’s bad act? Selective outrage? A flight attendant a bitch but others are called out for much less? Hypocrites. Not fit to be my Senators. @KatiePavlich @seanhannity @dbongino

The hypocrite @SenGillibrand says #ChristineBlaseyFord accusation is “disqualifying” – Not because she is offended – Because she was with @SenSchumer when Chuck called @usairways flight attendant a “bitch” – And Gillibrand #Kavanaugh DEFENDED SCHUMER. https://t.co/K2zdhyYfZF

@SenSchumer should you be investigated too? https://t.co/FZW95dU889. Or how about when you verbally abused the flight attendant calling her a bitch? #investigateschumer #hypocrite

Did Chuck Schumer “value women” when he called a female flight attendant a “bitch” for asking him to turn off his cell phone? You sat next to him and did nothing. #Hypocrite

How about you come clean and tell everyone why you called a flight attendant a “Bitch” because she was doing her job? You need to RESIGN because you are a hypocrite. You think that she is below you and there is no apology required. FRAUD!

You are nothing but a hypocrite giving cover to @SenSchumer calling a flight attendant a Bit&h. You wouldn’t be so kind if it was a republican. You are despicable.
