‘Life-long best friend’ denies Ford helped her with polygraph. Someone’s lying in sworn statement.

A friend of Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford is denying claims that she was helped before taking a polygraph test.

Monica McLean issued a statement Wednesday firing back at Ford’s ex-boyfriend who alleged in written testimony that he saw Ford coaching someone he claimed was her “life-long best friend” in how to take a  polygraph test.

“I have NEVER had Christine Blasey Ford, or anybody else, prepare me, or provide any other type of assistance whatsoever in connection with any polygraph exam I have taken at anytime,” McClean, a retired FBI agent said, Fox News reported.

In sworn testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee last week, Ford asserted that she had never helped anyone prepare for a polygraph exam. Her ex-boyfriend’s letter, submitted to the Committee contradicted other claims by Ford, prompting Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley to demand more documents.

The former boyfriend – whose name was redacted – claimed that during the years they were dating, from about 1992 to 1998, Ford not only never mentioned Kavanaugh but also did not reveal she was a victim of sexual misconduct. The liberal professor has accused the Supreme Court nominee of sexually assaulting her at a party in the 1980s when the two were in high school.

“During our time dating, Dr. Ford never brought up anything regarding her experience as a victim of sexual assault, harassment, or misconduct. Dr. Ford never mentioned Brett Kavanaugh,” the letter stated.

Ford’s claim that a fear of flying kept her from promptly testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee was also refuted by the former boyfriend who debunked that and her claims of being claustrophobic, saying they had flown a small propeller plane in Hawaii with no issues.

Grassley indicated Wednesday that the FBI report on Kavanaugh is “very close,” though he would not pin down anything specific.

“I think it’s very close,” Grassley said on Wednesday, according to Politico. “I have not talked to the FBI, and I don’t think I should talk to the FBI. People that seem to know said it’s getting close, but when, I haven’t heard.”
