Judge Pirro calls out accuser over refusal to fly: ‘Did she drive or surf across the ocean from Cali to Hawaii?’

Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro delivered a resounding rebuke of Christine Blasey Ford and her defenders Saturday, saying in effect that their disdain and disregard for basic jurisprudence threaten to undermine America’s entire justice system.

She began her fierce rant on “Justice with Judge Jeanine” by noting that the justice system is based on these fundamental principles: Every accused party has a right to due process, a right to a speedy trial, a right to have no charges/warrants filed without probable cause, a right to a trial by jury, a right to confront his/her accuser and a right to the presumption of innocence.

The problem is that Ford and her liberal Democrat sycophants want to abandon these fundamental principles, as evidenced by their outlandish demands, including that she allowed to testify after Kavanaugh and that she not be questioned by his attorneys. Were these requests approved, they would undermine America’s longstanding judicial process.

“Some members of Congress don’t care about any of this. The woman has to be believed and he is guilty. Forget a trial, due process or even hearing from the victim, the Constitution be damned,” Pirro said.

Pirro also took aim at Ford’s stunning lack of evidence. She’s been unable to answer the most basic who/why/what/when/how questions and can’t identify the date the alleged sexual assault happened, let alone the exact location where it occurred.

“Here, there is no indication of any of that — physical evidence such as torn clothes, injuries;  visits to a doctor, a hospital; photographs — there is none,” the judge said.

And none of the people whom she’s cited as corroborating witnesses have backed her claims. All four — Kavanaugh, Mark Judge, Patrick J. Smyth and Leland Ingham — have denied knowledge of the assault.

Add to all this Ford’s repeated attempts to avoid testifying to Congress. She keeps citing inane excuses for why a hearing must be delayed, including the excuse that she would need to drive to Washington, D.C., from her home in California because she’s afraid of flying. That’s a lie, as noted by Pirro.

“She was an intern in Hawaii a few years ago. How did she make that trip? Did she drive or surf across the ocean from California to Hawaii?” the judge sarcastically asked.

Pirro also mocked Ford for her demand that there be an FBI investigation before she testifies: “There’s no federal crime here. They keep saying we need to FBI. But they don’t ask for it because they know it can’t happen. If you want an investigation, call the local police or 911.”

In concluding her monologue, Pirro noted that the application of “truth and justice and law and order” — as in REAL truth, justice, law and order — should not be dependent on politics.

“Women are to be believed not because a political party thinks they should be but when they sound credible and present a believable scenario. And believability does not depend on the party of the complainant,” she said.

“And all men who are accused have a right to be cloaked in the presumption of innocence unless and until proof beyond a reasonable doubt shatters that presumption,” Pirro added. “And it matters not what your politics are, that lady justice is blind, has been the truth in our system from time in memorial.”

Yes, it has, but Democrats seem hellbent on subverting this system, and this has Pirro fearful.

“I have honored that lady. I’ve admired her and be in awe of her as long as I can remember. But now I fear for her. I fear for lady justice,” she concluded.
