‘Ridiculous’: Kavanaugh’s accuser lays out terms for testimony – with some mindboggling demands

Christine Blasey Ford, the liberal professor who accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of groping her 36 years ago, is being blasted on social media for making laughable demands as preconditions to testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee..

Specifically, Ford is demanding the following before she agrees to testify on her own behalf regarding her dubious 11th hour allegations:

  • Ford must not be questioned by lawyers; only by members of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
  • Judge Kavanaugh must not be in the room when she testifies.
  • Kavanaugh must testify first.
Christine Blasey Ford was mocked on social media over her outlandish demands to the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Ford has apparently abandoned her irrational demand for a “full FBI investigation” as a precondition after numerous attorneys pointed out that the FBI has no jurisdiction in a 36-year-old matter.

Moreover, the FBI conducts background checks (and performed six on Kavanaugh over the years) and does not do criminal investigations into decades-old allegations, especially when there’s no evidence or police reports.

Ford has suggested a September 27 hearing date., according to multiple press reports. Keep in mind that the U.S. Supreme Court starts its post-summer judicial calendar on October 1.

Countless political analysts and attorneys pointed out how ridiculous it would be for Kavanaugh to testify BEFORE he can respond to the accusations Christine Blasey Ford levels at him.

This is unprecedented and subverts longstanding U.S. judicial process. It also defies the purpose of the hearing, which is to assess the credibility of Ford’s claims versus Kavanaugh’s rebuttals.

“For 800 years, Western civilizations have determined that an accused person should be questioned after the accuser. But Democrats want to abort that too.”

“How the hell is the accused supposed to testify first when he hasn’t even heard the details of the allegation from the alleged victim?”

“This is not the kind of game an honest person plays. Her credibility just continues to plummet.”

One person suggested there’s a method to the madness.

Democrats are shamelessly weaponizing Christine Blasey Ford’s dubious, 36-year-old sexual assault allegations in order to derail Judge Kavanaugh‘s Supreme Court confirmation.

Keep in mind that many of the same Democrats who are opposing Kavanaugh’s SCOTUS confirmation approved his nomination to the federal appeals court back in 2006, as BizPac Review previously reported.

The Senate Judiciary Committee has bent over backwards to accommodate Ford, who admits that her memory of the alleged 1983 groping incident is fuzzy.

Specifically, Ford said she doesn’t remember where or when it happened. Attorneys say her testimony would never hold up in a court of law, which is why she never filed a police report.

Meanwhile, CNN — which has been sounding the drumbeat to torpedo Kavanaugh’s confirmation — embarrassed itself when it interviewed Republican women who say they don’t believe Christine Ford and stand firmly behind Kavanaugh despite the nonstop media gaslighting.

“A show of hands: How many of you believe Judge Kavanaugh when he says this didn’t happen?” a CNN reporter asked five women. All five raised their hands.

Republican Angie Vazquez asked why Ford didn’t say anything during Kavanaugh’s long career in the federal government, dating back to 2003, when George W. Bush hired him as a White House staff secretary, or in 2006, when he was confirmed to the U.S. District Court.

“Why didn’t she come out when he was going to the Bush White House?” Vazquez asked. “He’s been a federal judge for over a decade.”

Castillo De La Pena chimed in: “How can we believe the word of a woman for something that happened 36 years ago? This guy has an impeccable reputation. [We’re supposed to destroy his life] because one woman made an allegation? Sorry, I don’t buy it.”
