Trump steps in, warns social media giants to stop dangerous practice of censoring conservatives, or else …

In a series of tweets posted to Twitter early Saturday morning, President Donald Trump blasted Silicon Valley’s tech giants for their continued censorship of conservative voices on social media.

“Social Media is totally discriminating against Republican/Conservative voices. Speaking loudly and clearly for the Trump Administration, we won’t let that happen. They are closing down the opinions of many people on the RIGHT, while at the same time doing nothing to others,” he wrote in his first tweet.

Just this week alone Twitter blacklisted Republican congressional candidate Elizabeth Heng campaign ad, Facebook downgraded the reach of Prager University and both Twitter and Facebook (and other social media networks) took questionable actions against far-right commentator Alex Jones.

“Censorship is a very dangerous thing & absolutely impossible to police. If you are weeding out Fake News, there is nothing so Fake as CNN & MSNBC, & yet I do not ask that their sick behavior be removed. I get used to it and watch with a grain of salt, or don’t watch at all,” Trump wrote in his second tweet.

Though the left-wing media routinely tout lies, falsehoods and mistruths, conservatives have no interest in silencing them. Instead the right prefers to challenge their ideas with facts, reason and logic.

“Too many voices are being destroyed, some good & some bad, and that cannot be allowed to happen. Who is making the choices, because I can already tell you that too many mistakes are being made. Let everybody participate, good & bad, and we will all just have to figure it out!” the president concluded.

Look:

Despite plenty of evidence proving that social media companies have been censoring, shadow banning and targeting conservatives, the left-wing media continue to either deny it or excuse it.

Speaking Friday with Breitbart, GOP congressional candidate Elizabeth Heng of California outlined exactly why it’s fundamental this issue be acknowledged and addressed.

“Once again, we have these huge tech giants that continue to stifle conservative voices,” a day after Twitter blocked her campaign video ad and roughly a week after Facebook pulled the same stunt on her. “You can’t get that message out. What if this had happened with Facebook and Twitter five days before the election? That could completely swing elections for us going forward as they censor conservative voices.”

Listen:

She was right. It’s quite remarkable, really. The left continually accuse the right of colluding with Russia and whomever else (aliens, gremlins, Santa Clause) to cheat in political elections. Yet it’s the left that commits voter fraud, it’s the left that urges illegal immigrants to vote and it’s the left that has tried to downplay or outright bury reports of political censorship.

It’d be entirely unbelievable if it weren’t so frighteningly real …
