Someone hand Jim Acosta some Midol. The CNN pundit admitted that he stomped out of a press briefing because White House press secretary Sarah Sanders wouldn’t say what he wanted her to say.
“I walked out of the end of that briefing because I am totally saddened by what just happened,” Acosta tweeted. “Sarah Sanders was repeatedly given a chance to say the press is not the enemy and she wouldn’t do it. Shameful.”

Acosta — who uses White House events to make himself the news — was upset following his latest stunt, where he interrupted a fellow WH reporter to demand that Sanders disavow a statement that President Trump had made blasting fake news.

President Trump has repeatedly stated that he doesn’t oppose the media; he opposes “FAKE NEWS.”

Sanders fired back by pointing out that Acosta and the mainstream media viciously attack President Trump, his aides, and his supporters around the clock, but then get upset when the American public call them out on their lies.
Sanders clapped back (see video below):
“I’ve addressed this question, I’ve addressed my personal feelings. It’s ironic, Jim, that not only you and the media attack the President for his rhetoric when you frequently lower the level of conversation in this country.
The media has attacked me personally on a number of occasions, including your own network. They said I should be harassed as a life sentence, that I should be choked. ICE officials are not welcome in their place of worship and their personal information is shared on the Internet.
When I was hosted by the Correspondents’ Association, of which almost all of you are members of, you brought a comedian up to attack my appearance and call me a traitor to my own gender.
As far as I know, I’m the first press secretary in the history of the United States that’s required Secret Service protection. The media continues to ratchet up the verbal assault against the President and everyone in this administration.”
Jim Acosta doesn’t seem to realize that the American people don’t care about the media’s obsession with itself. They care about the economy, their families, and their safety.
Many on Twitter were fed-up with Acosta’s victim mentality and constant whining. Federalist senior editor Mollie Hemingway quipped: “Dear Diary, Today I demanded a woman say what I wanted her to say, and when she said something different and critical of me, I stormed out.”

Conservative author Dana Loesch observed, “If only America was as infatuated with Jim Acosta as Jim Acosta is with Jim Acosta.”
If only America was as infatuated with Jim Acosta as Jim Acosta is with Jim Acosta. Maybe he should have his own presser where he can regale the country with questions about himself.

News anchor David Shuster pointed out: “Your feelings, antics, + self promotion are hurting journalism, not helping it.”
Hey Jim @acosta, the job of a true journalist is not to be sad or happy by what happens in a press briefing room. It is to ask questions and report facts about what was said/not said. Your feelings, antics, + self promotion are hurting journalism, not helping it. Enough. https://t.co/J1sO8enSBz

Remember when the media’s nonstop race-baiting and demonization of Trump supporters resulted in Trump supporters getting bullied and beaten up wherever they go?
