Trump could pull security clearance from Brennan, Rice and others. List sends Dems into meltdown.

Liberals are having another collective meltdown because President Trump is considering pulling the top-secret security clearances of former Obama aides who are apparently monetizing classified government information by leaking it to the media.

Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff ratcheted up the hyberbole in order to attack Trump. “This is so extraordinary,’ Pelosi said at a press conference. “The last thing you want in intelligence is partisanship, and we were able to avoid that for so long.”

What’s extraordinary is Pelosi saying the upper ranks of the FBI and CIA — which are still stacked with Obama holdovers — have been nonpartisan despite the 50,000 anti-Trump texts exchanged between top FBI official Peter Strzok and his mistress, former FBI attorney Lisa Page.

Nancy Pelosi claims the Obama FBI and CIA were not partisan. Peter Strzok begs to differ.

As BizPac Review previously reported, Senator Rand Paul asked President Trump to revoke John Brennan’s security clearance. Brennan — the former CIA director under Barack Obama — now works as a liberal pundit for NBC and MSNBC.

Paul said monetizing top-secret intelligence is an ethical violation that endangers national security, especially in light of Brennan’s recent unhinged behavior.

“John Brennan has a history of leaking information,” Senator Paul said on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show. “Who in their right mind would want to let him have the power still to look through everybody’s records?”

Tucker retorted: “Brennan is a private citizen who works for a cable news station. Could I get a top-secret clearance and find out government secrets and use them in the course of my job? What is this?!”

President Trump is also reportedly considering revoking the security clearances of other former Obama aides, including:

  • Fired FBI director James Comey (who monetized his security clearance to write a memoir).
  • Fired deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe.
  • Former director of national intelligence James Clapper (now a pundit for CNN).
  • Former attorney general Loretta Lynch.
  • Former national security adviser Susan Rice.
  • Former Bush CIA director Michael Hayden (CNN pundit)

James Comey chimed in to attack President Trump because he’s furious that Trump will revoke his security clearance. Comey tried to deflect from his own scandal by squawking about the media-driven “Russia! Russia! Russia!” narrative.

To date, the investigation being led by Comey’s longtime pal, Robert Mueller, has produced no evidence of collusion.

What’s ridiculous is that Comey still has security clearance since he was fired. If you’re fired, why do you still have top-secret security clearance?

Moreover, Comey has admitted leaking information to the New York Times. That in itself is grounds to revoke his security clearance.

Predictably, the liberal media were also up in arms that former Obama aides who no longer work for the government could lose access to top-secret intel. CNN, the New York Times, and the Washington Post are probably just upset that they’re losing their anonymous sources.

James Clapper contradicts himself while whining about Trump’s ‘infringement’ on free speech
