Something stinks in San Francisco, and it’s not just the mile-high mounds of human feces littering the streets. San Francisco has officially become the first city in California to allow non-citizens to vote in a local election.
The SF Department of Elections issued voter registration forms for non-citizens so they can vote for members of the San Francisco Board of Education in November, ABC News 7 reported. The measure was approved in 2016 by a narrow margin of 54% to 46% following two failed attempts.

To vote in the SF Board of Education election, non-citizens must be residents of San Francisco who are at least 18 years old on election day, and are parents or legal guardians of children under the age of 19.
The ordinance will expire in November 2022, at which point it will be reconsidered. As everyone knows, once you give someone something, it’s a lot harder to take it away from them than if you had never given it in the first place.
Proponents say they want all parents (including illegal aliens) to have their voices heard to shape local education policy.
“As a parent myself and a former member of the SF Board of Education, it is critical that the voices of all parents are at the table, particularly those that have historically been denied a voice in the process,” said Sandra Lee Fewer, a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.
Matt Haney, a member of the San Francisco school board, co-authored the resolution to allow non-citizens to vote in the local election. “I think it’s critical that all of our families have a voice in the governance of our schools,” said Haney.
Harmeet Dhillon, an attorney and Republican National Committeewoman from California, voted against the measure, and said it’s a mistake to allow non-citizens like illegal immigrants to vote.
“The right to vote is something that goes along with citizenship and should be,” Dhillon told ABC 7. “I don’t think that people who have otherwise tenuous ties to San Francisco given their lack of legal residence should be making long-term decisions about that structure and process.”
Conservative radio host Bo Snerdley warned that this is just the beginning of a dangerous slippery slope into allowing illegal aliens to vote in all U.S. elections. Snerdley said this is the Democrats’ plan, and why they so eagerly support illegal immigration.
Snerdley tweeted: “15 years or so ago, Rush Limbaugh predicted this would happen – and it was the reason Democrats wanted illegal immigration to continue and explode. This is just the start of this phase.”

Conservatives have long called for voter ID laws to ensure against voter fraud.
Critics say Democrats support illegal immigration, mass Muslim migration, and oppose voter ID laws because they want to increase their voter bloc by any means necessary.

In August 2017, a Virginia man was sentenced to 100 days jail after pleading guilty to voter fraud by registering dead people as Democrat voters.
Andrew Spieles admitted that he falsified 18 Virginia voter registration forms by registering dead people as Democrats in August 2016. Spieles was caught when someone saw the name of a man he knew was dead on a voter registration form and called the police.

Liberals have vehemently opposed voter ID laws, claiming they’re “racist.”
You need an ID to get a driver’s license, buy alcohol, open a bank account, apply for food stamps, get on an airplane, enter college campus buildings, and pick up a prescription. But you don’t need one to vote? What exactly is “racist” about that?
In 2012, former president Barack Obama cheerfully showed his driver’s license after being asked for ID at a Chicago voting station.
At the time, CNN and other media thought the incident was amusing and cute, but have since done a complete about-face after President Trump won the 2016 election.
