President Trump slammed Barack Obama for doing nothing to stop Russia’s election meddling during his eight-year presidency, and called out hypocritical liberals for waiting until he took office to foment faux outrage over it.
Trump said Obama and the media knew about Russian election meddling for years but turned a blind eye to it because they thought Hillary Clinton was going to win, so they didn’t care to make it an issue.
President Trump launched the lethal Twitter salvo hours before his summit with Russian president Vladimir Putin, whom he’s meeting in Helsinki, Finland, on July 16.
“President Obama thought that Crooked Hillary was going to win the election, so when he was informed by the FBI about Russian Meddling, he said it couldn’t happen, was no big deal, and did NOTHING about it,” Trump tweeted. “When I won, it became a big deal and the Rigged Witch Hunt headed by Strzok!”

Two days earlier, President Trump pointed out that the 12 Russians indicted last week had hacked the DNC server during Obama’s presidency, even though the media is disingenuously blaming Trump for it.
“The stories you heard about the 12 Russians yesterday took place during the Obama Administration, not the Trump Administration,” Trump tweeted. “Why didn’t they do something about it, especially when it was reported that President Obama was informed by the FBI in September [2016], before the Election?”

As BizPac Review previously reported, 12 Russian nationals were indicted for allegedly hacking the Democratic National Committee’s emails during the 2016 presidential campaign. No Trump aides or Americans were implicated.
Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz, a lifelong liberal who voted for Hillary, said the indictments of Russians (and not U.S. citizens) proves that there was no need for a special counsel.
“This indictment could have been brought by ordinary prosecutors, ordinary FBI agents,” Dershowitz said. “There’s no conflict here. It’s Russians they are going after. There’s no people around the president [who were involved].”
Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton slammed President Trump over his upcoming summit with Vladimir Putin with a reference to the World Cup, which France won this weekend.
