Sanders takes Red Hen restaurant, leftist intimidation tactics head-on with scorching presser statement

Sarah Sanders made her first public on-air remarks about being kicked out of a Virginia restaurant for her political affiliation.

The White House Press Secretary did not mince words, and categorically condemned the disturbing trend of intimidation and threats against those who work for the Trump administration.

“I was asked to leave a restaurant this weekend where I attempted to have dinner with my family,” Sanders said, “My husband and I politely left and went home. I was asked to leave because I work for President Trump.”

“We are allowed to disagree, but should we be able to do so freely and without fear of harm. And this goes for all people, regardless of politics.”

Sanders also denounced the calls of violence against the restaurant that shunned her. “Some have chosen hate and vandalism toward the restaurant that I was asked to leave from.”

Without giving a name, Sanders went on to address Maxine Waters’ frightening call to harass Trump officials wherever and whenever they’re seen in public.

“A Hollywood actor publicly encouraged people to kidnap my children, and this weekend a member of Congress called for people to push back and make clear to those serving their country in this administration that they are not welcome anywhere, any time, for anything,” Sanders said.

“Healthy debate on ideas and political philosophy is important, but the calls for harassment and push for any Trump supporter to avoid the public is unacceptable,” she continued. “America is a great country, and our ability to find solutions despite those disagreements is what makes us unique.”

Sanders then doubled-down on support for her boss and his accomplishments as President.

“That is exactly what President Trump has done for all Americans by building a booming economy with record low unemployment for African-Americans and Hispanics, the defeat of ISIS and the ongoing work to create peace on the Korean Peninsula.”

A quick scan of Twitter shows that Sanders’ words fell on deaf Democrat ears:

Illegal aliens aren’t entitled to “due process” under the U.S. Constitution, but, no matter…

Truly demented.

Some Trump supporters echoed conservative actor James Woods who urged Republicans to ‘get armed … your life depends on it,’ and believe the tension will only escalate:

Scary times.
