President Donald Trump appears determined to do what no other president has shown the courage and commitment to do: stop the never-ending invasion of illegal immigrants along our southern border.
With Mexico serving as little more than a conduit for Central America’s poor, Trump took to Twitter on Sunday to say our immigration laws are a mockery and that illegal immigrants need to be sent “back from where they came” without going through any judicial process.
“We cannot allow all of these people to invade our Country. When somebody comes in, we must immediately, with no Judges or Court Cases, bring them back from where they came. Our system is a mockery to good immigration policy and Law and Order,” the president tweeted.

In a follow up tweet, Trump accurately noted that the current system is very unfair to the millions of immigrants who enter the United States legally. He also repeated his call for a merit based system.

The tweets come amid the media-generated hysteria over illegal immigrant families being separated when adults are held accountable for breaking immigration laws by entering the country illegally.
Trump did not say he is ordering this action to be taken, his tweets being a clear call for a change in our laws directed at an inept, self-serving Congress.
Which he alluded to in a tweet Friday, calling on the GOP to hold off on passing any laws on immigration until after the “Red Wave” in November.

Nonetheless, this did not stop the anti-Trump media from hyperventialting that he is violating due process.
Liberals and their media allies suddenly admit that illegal immigrants are criminal, despite spending months condemning Trump for the same thing.
Pointing to the U.S. Constitution, they stress that the Fifth Amendment guarantees a right to “due process of law” in criminal proceedings. The Supreme Court clarified in 1953 that this right extended to non-US citizens.
The question may be, should this apply if they are caught in the process of entering the country.
With 12 million illegal immigrants already residing in the United States, and a never-ending flow of tens of thousands to our southern border, draining the public treasury, it’s a serious problem — at least, outside of Democratic precincts it is.
This coming in addition to 1 million LEGAL immigrants being admitted every year.
President Trump sees this issue as most rational Americans do and is trying to take measures to stop a flow that needs to be stopped. And he’s being fought every step of the way by Democrats, political class Republicans and the media.
All of which appears to strengthen his appeal to average Americans, as the polls show.
