Cohen responds to ridiculous nonsense Tom Arnold is trying to sell about teaming up to take down Trump

After recently meeting President Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen, Hollywood actor Tom Arnold rushed to the media to spout what critics argue were some of the most delusional claims to ever be issued in American history.

According to Arnold, not only did he and Cohen practically form some sort of weird bond during their mysterious meeting, but Cohen subsequently told him some of Trump’s secrets and even apparently shared unreleased recordings of the president that could damage his presidency.

The Hollywood actor also alleged that he and Cohen were slated to spend the weekend together talking about Trump, and that Cohen had agreed to appear on his upcoming Vice News show, “The Hunt for the Trump Tapes.”

Unfortunately for Arnold, who happens to be one of the most vocal anti-Trump celebrities in Hollywood, Cohen dropped a tweet Friday night in which he basically said that everything Arnold has been claiming is “ridiculous” nonsense.

Look:

You don’t say? Even left-wing media contributors have expressed shock at Arnold’s conspiratorial rhetoric.

Listen below as he describes to MSNBC host Nicole Wallace what allegedly occurred when he met Cohen:

Arnold claimed that he had arranged a meeting with Cohen to seek material for his upcoming Vice News show, which will reportedly show him searching for incriminating evidence that can be used to oust the president from office.

“This dude has all the tapes — this dude has everything,” he said on MSNBC, referencing Cohen. I say to Michael, ‘Guess what? We’re taking Trump down together, and he’s so tired he’s like, ‘OK,’ and his wife is like, ‘OK, f*** Trump.'”

Seen early Friday evening, this video at least showed Arnold talking, albeit faster than former President Bill Clinton falsely claiming, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.” (Yes, you did!)

During an interview later that evening on CNN, Arnold literally sat silent for several minutes just staring at the host:

Yikes …

It’s unclear at this point whether Arnold is suffering a mental breakdown or whether he’s simply trying to gin up interest in his upcoming show.

A trailer of his show can be seen below:

What’s clear is that very few people believe Arnold’s claims.

Take a look at social media’s reaction below:

Can you blame them for thinking Arnold is bonkers? Probably not.
