Still reeling from a failed attempt to get Laura Ingraham’s show booted from the airwaves, leftist-activist David Hogg believes he might have a second chance.
Pouncing on comments the Fox News host made after she used “summer camps” as an analogy to describe border holding facilities for children of migrants trying to cross into the U.S. illegally, Hogg has called for another boycott.
The former Parkland student that lived through the horrendous high school massacre in February was all to eager to jump on the anti-Ingraham bandwagon:
So @IngrahamAngle we meet again. Who are you biggest advertisers now?
— David Hogg (@davidhogg111) June 19, 2018
Another “Dave Hogg” mistakenly identified by the Daily Mail as the activist Hogg from Parkland, capitalized on Ingraham’s statement and threw fellow Fox hosts Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity in the mix claiming they would “happily defend genocide” if the Trump admin asked them to:
Laura Ingraham, like Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity, would happily defend genocide if the Trump administration asked them to do so. https://t.co/RV7kwPn70R

A flurry of leftists blue checks on Twitter joined in with a series of hyperbolic comments:
Fox News primetime isn't even state TV anymore. It's white vengeance fanfiction that deliberately blocks out almost every other piece of information available. https://t.co/cIqDs58zF0

On and on it went, and it was all David Hogg from Parkland needed to get the boycott ball rolling once again. He quickly complied a list of advertisers for his followers to harass:
If we get these advertisers pulled maybe @Ingraham will have to become a camp counselor and learn how wrong she is.

In an apparent attempt to defend her comments, Ingraham quoted a piece from the San Diego Tribune that compared the detention facilities to a boarding school.
“There are classrooms, a play area with soccer goals and a medical clinic with superheroes like Wonder Woman, Superman and the Hulk on the walls.”

With the left’s selective outrage at fever pitch, it’s unlikely Ingraham will be able to do much to quell the uproar other than to wait it out.
Hogg’s attempt to shut down Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle” failed spectacularly once before, and will likely fail again. Despite the media’s full on assault against the Trump administration for following through on border policy that was already on the books, Americans approve of the direction the country is going in, according to the latest Gallup polls.
That’s not good news for Hogg or his latest boycott efforts. As the Wall St. Journal recently reported, ad boycotts often garner an immediate reaction but almost inevitably fail.
Despite Hogg’s followers who excitedly declared they would join the boycott, Twitter user JT Lewis, who lost his brother in the Sandy Hook shooting, said he predicts another big ratings boost for Ingraham.

Meanwhile, Ingraham has a virtual target on her back once again. As “Miami native” and Dem activist Grant Stern is using the boycott to slam “Trump concentration camps.”
If you thought advertisers should #BoycottIngraham for insulting mass murder survivor @davidhogg111, then there's NO question, it's time to bring back the boycott for this.
Laura Ingraham should leave TV and send her kids to #TrumpConcentrationCamps if she loves them so much. https://t.co/Geeuks9LAa

Wow.
Fox News released a statement late Tuesday:
“Laura Ingraham’s very personal, on-the-ground commitment to the plight of impoverished and abandoned children—specifically in Guatemala— speaks for itself. So too does her strong belief in a commonsense, legal immigration system, which will continue to be a focus of her show. FOX News will never tolerate or give in to attempts to silence diverse viewpoints by agenda-driven intimidation efforts.”
