A good guy with a gun, or make that two, stopped an armed carjacker at a Walmart parking lot in Tumwater, Washington.
Two armed citizens took action when the man suspected of carjacking a vehicle was trying to commandeer another car at the Walmart, shooting the man dead, according to Fox News.
A 16-year-old girl was injured in the earlier incident, although it’s not known if she was shot, The Seattle Times reported. The man reportedly abandoned the first stolen car and tried to carjack another vehicle. That driver was shot when he refused to surrender his vehicle — he was transported to a hospital and is in critical condition.
The suspect was shot and killed while trying to secure another vehicle.
Suspect is dead – was shot & killed by a civilian right here. #Tumwater PD tells me suspect was trying to carjack two cars and shot one man in a car in the process. That victim was airlifted to Harborview. @KIRO7Seattle #shooting #walmart pic.twitter.com/sT0siGfA4E

“This guy could have taken out more people, wounded or killed,” Brian Adams told the newspaper.
Adams was in the parking lot when shots first rang out — the suspect was reportedly shooting into other vehicles — and took cover behind cars. He called the citizen who shot the suspect a hero.
Social media user Darren Gossler took to Twitter to describe his view of the ordeal.
“I was in the dairy section. Heard about 5 or 6 pops,” he tweeted. “Ran out a side emergency exit and attempted to run to my car in the parking lot but heard 4 more pops in the lot. Caught a quick glimpse of a male with what appeared to be a handgun. Ducked under some cars and ran to Costco.”

Ryan Fournier, chairman of Students for Trump, summed up well what took place — even if the media is hesitant to point it out.
“There was just a shooting at a Walmart in Tumwater, WA. The suspect was taken down by another civilian exercising their #2A rights. The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is with a good guy with a gun,” he tweeted.
